POE2 Controller Disconnect kicks you back to login screen

Same here on the PS5, every time i switch the controller i get logged out.

Furthermore i was doing the Trial of Sekhema and had a really good run...right after killing the 1st floor Boss, the PS indicates that my controller energy is low. Tried to be smart and plugged the controller via usb-c cable in the playstation to avoid being logged out again...but exactly that happened again: The game logged me out and i lost the complete progress =(

Edit: Ok, the progress is saved after the 1st floor. Not bad =)

Same here.

It also happens when I open a browser to watch a youtube video. My controller disconnects due to not being used, then when I go back into the game I get a buffer overflow error then the game closes and i have to reopen the entire game.

There is also a huge lag when your at the log in screen and then turn on/connect your Bluetooth controller. Sometimes it freezes for over a minute before it lets me gain control and log in.

Just wanted to add my issues as well.
hopefully they know the game is unplayable with controller in this situation at least the end game UNPLAYABLE i got kicked out 10 times in the span of 5 minutes what am i supposed to do with that
I can honestly say its doing it for me too, xbox elite 2 controller, the xbox button will just start blinking, kicks me the character select screen.

I've reset pairing multiple times, doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Would be nice if the game auto detected the input, like Diablo 4 does, then i can do inventory management with M&K and play with controller.

Adding as another player with the same issue. PS5 controller will die and a popup to use a controller registered with my account is there.
Same
Long Live Heavy Metal
Same on Ps5,very frustrating.
Pl fix
I have the same issue with a PS4 controller. It disconnects, then kicks to login/character select.

I've lost 2-3 trials because of this.

This keeps regularly happening on the Steam Deck when using a bluetooth controller (haven't tried using a cable yet), and it's extremely annoying. The fact that the game pushes you back to the login screen means that if you are doing Trials you will lose all progress for it as well.
