POE2 Controller Disconnect kicks you back to login screen

Would be great if it would work like a charm as in D4.
The only problem there is, that you have to close Steam to get the controller work normally.

Here this won't be possible.

Maybe it has something to do with the steam controller settings?

Same here. Using an Xbox Elite Series 2 controller and it disconnects constantly, kicking me out to login screen. Would also be great to be able to use M+K for inventory management and using the controller while actually playing...

Same error and I don't even have a controller, I play with mouse and keyboard (wired!).
