please decrease the cost of respec, it is unsustainable and given the amount of variables on builds it is very frustrating and anachronistic not to allow free experimentation, especially in light of all the changes and modifications in early access.
If players find a feature that's overpowered then congratulation GGG said in a interview , now we know that was a lie.

It's that what annoyes me most! It takes time to build up trust and it takes no time at all to lose it, right now i am in doubt if i can trust GGG.

Poor communication as well people just woke up and couldn't play their strong build they invested their time in.

And i dislike the mindset of just nerfing it into oblivion instead of making it less strong. Hence i would prefer weaker build to become just as strong and then when that's done make the npc's stronger a bit.

Very different, at lest d4 have fun builds. And you can blast with them. Not that rolling on your ass around the packs of monsters trying to deal damage. In d4 you just delete the whole screen and its so satisfying. POE1 gives the same feeling.
Tbh Blizzard never nerfed build so hard making the, completely unplayable.
For now d4 is way more fun than poe2.

So many nerfs to the few things that ACTUALLY WORK and no buffs to the 75% of skills and builds that are garbage. Absolutely brilliant game development principles here.
I get wanting to make the game challenging but this is just making it punishing for the sake of being punishing. In other words, not fun. And a game should always be fun first and foremost.
While I don't play a sorc right now, the cast on x nerfs hurt other classes too. Monk has no way generating power charges that isn't clunky. Either it's clunky in building, requiring resonance and high crit. Or it's clunky in usage, requiring extra button presses. And this wrecks one of the less clunky ways of doing it. I was using Cast on Shock + Profane Ritual to generate charges for clearing as I don't have the crit for Snipers Mark yet. Now it takes so long to get a single cast on shock going that it won't be sustainable. That means back to Killing Palm which is honestly a god awful mechanic. Or finding a way to use Combat Frenzy + Resonance, which means finding a reliable source of electrocution that doesn't tank my damage.

This feels like nerfing for the sake of nerfing. Punishing for the sake of punishing. If you are going to do this then realize that people are running these certain builds for a reason. Buff some other skills to give people a way to kill at a reasonable pace. Or in the case of where people are using it for utility, give us a reasonable, and non clunky way to get what we need.
Yesterday, I was so excited about the game that I upgraded from the €30 edition to the €100 one. I was loving my Ice Sorceress build, but today… they nerfed the core activation spell and made my build completely USELESS!

Seriously, GGG What kind of balancing is this? I spent hours fine-tuning my character and enjoying the game, only for a patch to ruin the class and all my progress. I feel like I’ve not only wasted my time but been scammed.

I’m not asking for the game to be easy; I’m asking for builds to remain viable and for my invested time not to feel pointless. Players put money and effort into this project.
nah f that i wont farm gold in low zones all day again…

CoF is basically dead. I think it was nerfed too much. The investment to get it work was quite high. You had to invest in spirit, have enough mana, freez the target and if you didn't 1 shot it then you had to wait for some time untill you freez again... meanwhile there are some other builds that just shot 2 arrows and everything is dead


This is the craziest thing to me. CoF Sorc was far and beyond from being broken. It required a tooon of investment, both in passives and gear, to be able to use it. Even at its highest, it wasn't anywhere near as egregious as minions, ranger, or elec monks. Not even half as good.

The incompetency is insane.
I like the game a lot so far, but basically killing a build and not at least lowering the respec price, or offering a full respec sets a bad precedence. Not sure if I want to reroll to another build just for it to get murdered again.
Nerfing/changing things is fine and perhaps necessary, but isn't the point of early access to let people experiment with builds so that they can find potentially broken interactions for you to fix? If so, why not make the experimentation easier by lowering the price of respec?
