Well the servers finally let me actually do a 10 trial Chaos, I already had third ascendancy but it's nice to know how the entire thing works so I can work towards 4th.
What are some options in chaos trials that this build struggles with?
I've had a bunch that I know are fine, and some I've avoided and never touched because I'm not sure, and a few I personally don't like.

Guys how do you start breach?
I often got so swarmed that I do not have time to cast even one spell and it is over...
Tried to pre cast sigil/frost wall etc but I do not feel as it is reliable enought.

I've been switching back and forth with Ice Bomb and Ball Lightning.
Ice Bomb also applies cold exposure that I have some nodes in the tree to help as well. It also innately applies 20% more cold exposure. The downside is, you have to wait till it explodes to proc shock/lightning exposure.
This is where ball lightning is just better. Shoot it at a rare/boss and it should apply the shock/exposure a little easier.

With CoS Comet + Frost wall, Curse, I one shot bosses.
Just did Xhest today with my friend, and nuke half his HP with one combo in 1 second.
But I do not recommend playing CoS Comet + Frost Wall + Fireball for breach. You are very slow and mana draining very fast if you are spamming. Use your frost wall wisely.
Sounds like you need more mana regen. You shouldn't be losing mana from fireball. You should really only go down in mana if you spam all your abilities, as the curse for me costs 900-1000 mana. Other abilities all around 500. But if you have enough regen and don't spam, you should never really be killing yourself (besides when your comets drop against bosses, you'll almost kill yourself w/ this and it's why I've thought about investing in the unique flask. Instant recovery after it dumps from comets.)

to the left you got a jewel socket near Repulsion, you can replace the points you use there, to get 2 jewels instead.
Use jewel socket near Final Barrage and second one near the cold nodes

Confused why the guide mentions to do cast on freeze for ice wall, but then also says to manually place them for bosses? How am I supposed to swap between them? Or should I not bother with cast on freeze until maps?

You can unsocket the first Icewall and then cut the second one and place it in your skills. Afterwards just resocket the first Icewall.

Well yes- you can not use duplicates of support gems

I just realized your frost wall cast on freeze take charges from your actual frost wall skills. Is this normal?
I often out of frost wall charges even when i didnt cast it.
I changed to cast on skill comet because of this

Yes, I believe any skill you have socketed twice in this way still share cooldowns.
I think Quality on the Ice Wall makes it recharge faster so 20%ing both Walls is pretty important.
One thing to remember is you may want to actually turn off the "Cast on Freeze" if you're going into a boss fight, I've got enough Spirit I swap over to Blasphemy Conductivity to get even more DPS.
Otherwise you should still be able to Ice Wall against rares most of the time.
