Ascendancy Trials Feedback: Understanding Player Concerns
Agreed. Bump this. Om not interested in progress after campaign because of the trials.

On a side note, and this is a personal statement, I was loving POE 2 because it really felt like those good old Diablo II days, until I reached these Trials. Then this game died on me.

I managed to complete both trials on normal difficulty, on my regular build. It took me a lot of attempts, until I got favorable modifiers and knew what to expect. I'm not looking forward to the cruel versions. Having to go through a lot more stages, it's unlikely if not impossible to go all the way without running into modifiers that my build can't deal with. Sounds like an almost guaranteed dead-end, which is a very discouraging prospect.
Missing out on a core advancement or spending millions to respec and then millions to respec back again? This needs to be changed, definitely. |

I hate the honor system and the traps in the trials.

I totally agree.
At the very least they should get rid of is the honor-system. It just puts another limiter in aside of what is already a relatively difficult but manageable game. Sanctum was annoying in PoE1, but players would farm it with builds optimized for it and the drops made it worth doing even if you didn't like it as much (same goes to a degree with Ultimatum), but now every single build is expected to run it, not for loot but to access a core-mechanic. |

Great feedback, +1

Trials 3 and 4 have the worst gameplay design i ever saw, the honor system as a melee want to make me quit this trash. Who ever made the desion to implement this honor system is incompetent or a sadist.

+1. trials are horrible especially for a warrior main. Remove honor completely as a minimum. Please find a way to make trials funk not a dreaded rite of passage or just ommit them completely.
