Fog of war resetting starting today

Reinstalled game on PS5 and it works

Figured everyone was having this issue for past couple weeks and it would just be patched out. Glad I came across this thread.

Ps5 pro user.

Each and every time, whether it's in campaign, or in maps, and even when I join other players...

If I go back to town, and come back (it can be immediately) then the fog if war all reappears and my map discovery is "reset".

Not sure what's going on not why it happens to some of us and not others.

I okay with three other friends, all on pS5 (I'm the only pro) and 2 are just fine, and 2 of us have this problem.

PS5 OG disc drive version.

Playing mostly couch co-op but is happening on all characters now and other accounts on the console so it’s not just the main account.

Definitely a PS5-wide issue.

So glad I came across this, re-downloading now to fix this as I've also succumbed to this bug/glitch as well... Not fun times mapping with FoW coming back with every return trip to my hideout. Cheers!

Well I didnt have this issue but suddenly in one map everything changed. Now I lose fog of war every time I portal.

So annoying when u teleport and everytime your opened map is fully black again

I posted up above 3 days ago this happend to me and the reinstall worked. It just happened to me again though.

The solution can't be to reinstall the game every few hours of gameplay. What's not promising is hearing this was an issue back on POE1 and was never resolved.

Been happening to me since the 2nd day of release on ps5pro.
Reinstall does not work. Well it does but just happens again fairly soon and tired of reinstalling.

If anyone ever gets the fog of war bug in the Atlas map you can use the shortcuts button (triangle) choose a shortcut location and the Atlas should unfog right away.
