modifiers that affect hits dont apply to the poison once its applied, however breaking armour does affect the physical portion of the hit that applies the poison and will impact the poison damage that way.


This is incorrect, I just ran tests against an act boss and the damage was the same with or without corrosion. The average damage was within 1% on both cases. I did 10 tries each.


I just read the whole description of poison again, paired with your testing would indicate that they described it in such a roundabout way by using final hit damage when they could just have used base damage.

Have you considered playing with adorned and slamming like 7-8 poison magnitude + poison duration jewels, could go hard.

what does flask effect duration? There are no flasks with positive effects here, so from the description, it seems like HP will just recover more slowly.

But I was wondering, is there a benefit leaving the gas cloud there after all poison stacks capped, instead of igniting and exploding it? After all poison stacks ofc

its similar to ours but quite a bit different with skill gems/ascendancy.

just wondering if anyones dropped or swapped to it for any particular reason.
That's pretty much same as all other builds atm. Don't really need the mana leech nodes though, but I don't think momentum works on GA. You don't move enough during the cast.
Noobie question here. How does Ryslatha and poison damage range work for tick calculation. the belt lowers min, and increases max. My current tool tip poison damage range with the belt on is 2600 - 12000. Without the belt it is 4300 - 9400. When an enemy is poisoned, is it just an RNG roll on what damage is applied per stack within that range?

The poison runs out very quickly. Test it out. I found that exploding the clouds left a lot of stragglers around and just leaving the cloud was much better for clearing??

Yes, the initial "hit" is rolled from your phys/chaos damage and it's random between the min-max. Poison then scales for this. 20% of the hit damage per second is the initial value of the magnitude.
