Ascent to power quest bugged (in cruel act 2)

As I was progressing through the game in SSF on my Sorceress Monk, I got the quest Ascent to power quest. Like before it asks us to go to traitor passage and search for clues etc.

Only problem this time, which didnt occur on the first time on normal act 2, is that even after defeating the boss there, the quest doesnt follow up with the trial, I cleared the passage multiple time and defeated the djhin multiple time as well, without any success of the quest progressing.

So now I have the quest asking me to go back to traitors passage, even if I did it at least 3 time now to see if anything would change. Without success.

I tried going back in act 1 to do the trial with the coin I got lvl 50ish. completed both strengh and will trial and nothing changed for the quest back on Cruel act 2.
