Warbringer Shockwave Totems: 250k+ dps mapping / 350k+bossing. Easy T16s & Bossing. (Videos)

After some long research on different content creator and some youtube guide, capping your res at 90% and have a lot of armor (with the state of armor) might not to be the only solution to resolve some "problem"

To resolve the life problem we can :

-With a good stuff, play the MANA version because Warbringer have some difficulties to keep up with the cost
-Inguinety is MANDATORY if you want to hard push your character
-For the Jewel called "Against the Darkness", you can try to buy one with "+1 % maximum life and + Max rez" - IF YOU HAVE CURRENCY Replace this one by "+1 % Maximum Life ; +(2-4%) Strengh per node to strong to be avoid.
-Buy 3 "Grand Spectrum Ruby" (2 div each) to have, in total, +18% life

With this setup you can have around 4k5 hp (perhaps more)

And the switch to "Jade Heritage" is the goal because the Negative armor applied to ennemy is bugged.

PLUS we can "ABUSED" to the snapshot totem aka put a shield on the second weapon set and put all the block + regen on this tree when all the totems are set

Gemling is the best class, but for most things right now. Could get nerfed.

The +4% Strength+1% maximum life against the darkness is a nice addition. I couldn't find one, even with countless reloads :)

Yes Gemling might be a better solution BUT dont be bait by this video, he litteraly put 300 D on this build. Some "casual" gear would be great to have some data.


Atm, i'm playing this version of Shockwave Totem : https://maxroll.gg/poe2/passive-tree/ot53t0w9, just start the +15 map. I play with the ShockWave Setup + Ancestral Totem with sunder.
My goal is :
-Gain HP
-Gain some currency to buy 2x +7 melee weapon

I'm trying the life option AND later the Ascendancy "Turtle Charm" to block everything, I only swap to shield with my totem are set to gain the BLOCK + the full recovery (Atm i dont need to use any life flask to recover my hp)

So yeah the guide is great but you need to spend a lot of time to get your stuff done.
And i'm sure Warbringer can easily do the same as Titan but with more currency

picked life bounty and admit really give ton quality of life ,so far my belt was keeping me up ,still haven't fixed the 2% missing max cold but upgraded my armor spending 10 divine so my current armor is 12300, totem dps went up to 47k so start to get closer to your 50k.trade off issue is I lost spirit so atm using scavenging with persistence and physical mastery and time of need with vitality fast forward and hermalism.Dropped overwhelming presence ,I had not int and dex to use the dodge one you use

Sounds like you are well on your way. Does scavenging actually drop fragments now when the totems get the kills? I had not thought this to be true, but am uncertain.

Update on my character:

Now level 72 with 6/8 ascendancies. Overcapped all ele resis, chaos 50%, 51% phys reduction, Str at 235 working towards 300ish.

Still rolling with +4 +3, +1 amu and +2 gloves. Just switched to blood magic because I found a great ultimate flask and a great utility belt. Feels like the natural time to switch, maybe could’ve been earlier with better gear.

My jewels are terrible.

But anyway I’m a semi casual player and I’m still loving it. I’ve been keeping track of the theorycrafting and tests you’re doing ,so thank you for the updates! Would definitely recommend this build to anyone.

actually im not sure! if it doesnt work I can remove xD anyway updated jewels and I'm on 49k dps single totem almost 70 with conc so think I'm good now!

lvl95 roughly 4.5k life almost 1.2kregen/s

before the server issues started I could attempt Xhesh +4 and it was easy.
I went for heavy swing instead of overbundance, as I wanted to have time for dodging.
2 times I had to use a flask, because I got hit for like 3k life.

Compared to the video of Orion it felt like I was having it way too easy. Sadly my second attempt was stopped by server issues. Gonna try it later again, to make sure I wasn't just lucky.

Hi guys - a question for the weapon swap between 2x2H maces & mace/shield. Is the rotation like: start with 2H maces -> summon totems -> swap to shield for defense -> swap to 2H maces when totems expire to summon again?

Is there any trick to make it smoother? Thanks

I don't use the weapon swap that way, as I find it clunky. This is why the build goes to significant effort to become tankier without needing to swap. I swap to a shield only for shield charge in between fights. That gets accomplished automatically by setting shockwave totems to work only with weapon set one and setting shield charge to weapon set two. There is another thread for someone who is using the weapon swap tech for defense. They may have better ideas for you.
