there is no point in playing anthing else besides a monk at this point
Oh one small addition - Can we also add some small easy QOL. I'm working on a list but one I think could be good is a chat command to check we have obtained campaign rewards:

24 passive skill points, 100 spirit, +20% all elemental resistances, +20 life and 8% life increase.

Thank you.

Hmm… I love POE2. I love how it is different from POE1. But… why do I feel like it’s turning into POE1? Buffing skills, nerfing mobs… the bosses are already don’t last longer than a few seconds… you created great bosses with stunning animations which already doesn’t activate most of the time… will we have the same speed running bllsht here too a few months later? Please stick to your original plan. Haters will still hate, don’t disappoint those who love it…

In a nutshell, POE2 is turning into POE1 now… few more patches like this and POE2 will lose all its glory, I don’t think we need one more POE1…

funny you would say this about the patch removing many things that this game inherited from PoE 1

Don’t get me wrong, this patch has many goodies in it, but the nerfs to mobs makes me worry… I am a veteran POE1 player and while that game is good, every league becomes boring after just 2 weeks because you get good gear fast and the mobs/bosses became trash, except if you run some extremely over juiced maps where everything one shot you…

The leveling here in POE2 was different, hard, fun, entertaining … but since cruel Act1 the bosses are a joke just like the same sht in POE1 and now the only things that could kill you on maps are nerfed as well… if this goes on then what was the point of this new game?
I know all of your stach tabs are not ready for poe2 yet. but can we pleace get Affinities for Waystones, trail keys, Expedition, Runes and catalysts ?
Please add an online filter. I play through GFN and my eyes are already tired of looking for important things.

Hi,

'It is now more difficult to chain-freeze enemies by reducing the amount of Freeze Buildup applied after a Freeze has been applied.'

Let's talk about this and general balance philosophy.

Firstly - thank you so much for the fun! I'm loving it. I do however have some concerns about some of the decisions and i'd like to express why.

I definitely agree that some skills / interactions are too strong. Things like Vine Arrow scaling ' hello?'

I also understand that you would ideally like other options to be approximately balanced to create a wider variety of play styles! I totally agree with this too.

Now here is my issue. If I have read this change correctly - It means that the same target cant be chain frozen as easily? They build up a tolerance. If so then I welcome this change. If, however this means that other mobs close by develop it then we will ruin say the Herald of ICE interaction for screen wide explosions.

So here is my question more so generically than on this specific point.
Can we please be really careful not to literally NERF fun.

I know this seems strange but the idea that we invest heavily 100's ex into a build to make a Zoomer 'kinda' that can farm maps quickly at say a cost to ST is what feels good. I am concerned that nerfing this type of gameplay is ultimately nerfing fun. I can guarantee that everyone loves the power fantasy of blowing up packs. It feels amazing!

So in this context - can we consider bringing other skills in line (Buffs) rather than nerfing core interactions for heavily invested outcomes.? If we continue to nerf things because they are becoming meta we will loose this race.

Every season has a meta. Its about that MIN MAX. People have diversity from that equivalence and some small nuisance that are usually defined from Unique.

There is a META to level with (A meta for early end game) and End game. This will always be the case. Some will go Righteous fire - Others may go hexblast. This is the meta for certain content. So should we now nerf them? No, because this is just nerfing the fun! We want to feel OVERPOWERED after we have invested a lot into a build. This should be a case of more scaling and curves rather than outright nerfs. We should be able to get to that OP states - it should just take longer.

Thats my philosophy and you may not agree. We will see. Either way I'm having a blast and while almost all builds i have played have been nerfed im enjoying the journery very much. I also applaud how you have been responding. Take care exiles!
I don't think you should be that concerned I think they are just nerfing the couple skills that were instantly freezing enemies after they thawed out ( yeah those existed )

Yes my friend, I think you're right. I'm just providing general feedback about my thoughts on the nerf/buff philosophy. I understand it is a different game but I'm enjoying blowing things up like the POE1 days and hope that doesn't change. I do agree regardless and my long post was probably not required. Apologies if sounded bitter. I am not. I have agreed with almost all nerfs despite them costing me 100's of ex.

Thank you for responding.
There exist completely overpowered builds, that melt through content.
We desperately wait for the waystone cache.
Minions feel clunky, need a second defense layer, get stuck everywhere, respawn timer resets multiple times.

GGG: let's nerf minions!
