Path of Exile 2: Upcoming Changes and Improvements

Very good to see! :)

Still hoping to see demon form being fixed in the near future tho :/
Really good patch, thank you.

It's probably on the radar already but Trials of Chaos needs adjustments as well. And please don't go overboard on the freeze nerfs like previous trigger skill nerfs.
It seems like you are intent on keeping the Honor mechanic in the Trials of the Sekhemas as a thing according to this patch. Why? Why not just get rid of it? Virtually everyone hates Honor, so just begone with it and make the Trial more similar to Izaro's Labyrinth. I don't see what's so complicated about that.
You guys are killing it. I was not expecting to see this until after break.

I do have a bit of feedback about the feedback.

Most importantly while the changes to trials is very much appreciated, the concern is that we would be getting a quest item in act 4 to ascend, meaning we could try again if we fail, why do we not get a quest item for the trails we do have to get these points.

It seems players would have a near guarantee to 6 ascendancy points in maps, so why aren't we testing it like that?

number 2 "Disabled the Volatile Crystals Modifier, we’ll revisit this in the future pending telegraphing improvements." Please for the love of god leave it out. Don't make me scared of the loot that drops from rares.

Number 3: I like a lot of people want to see the charm affix removed entirely this could be another progression system similar to quality and the jewelers orbs where we find item to add the charm slot with the last one being rare enough to hold value in the economy.

And Finally Please enjoy your break, I love your game I have been playing it every day nearly every free moment I have.
Take a moment for Jung, who has lost another build with the vine arrow changes
Thrilled to see the Honour changes
Electrocute is now 25% harder to buildup. (But the Damage Penalty has been removed from the Support Gem).

I wonder if the nerf on Voltaic Grenades was intended? It already electrocuted by itself with no need for the support. I don't think Voltaic Grenades is that strong :) (biased).
I'll say again, passively generating passive respec points as you accrue gold is the way to go. It gives you more knobs and levers.

1:) You would set the rate at which people get free respec points

2:) you'd set the cap that can be accrued

3:) this would let you set how much respeccing people could do without taking a hit to their gold pool

Quite frankly the only way I see to avoid doing something like this would be to bring back Orbs of Regret, which would be regrettable. Also GGG, yes, I'm calling you out, design a better system than the one I'm describing.

Also, just to make sure its on your radar, almost none of these uniques are build-enabling or viable at endgame which flies directly in the face of the claims the game director claimed. Good work from the art department though, these 3d models and icons are really great.

this is great, but unless you're adding checkpoints to maps there's still A LOT of backtracking going on there, some maps are huge and basically guaranteed you have to backtrack idk why you don't just add an out of combat sprint so we can backtrack faster.

Just make it auto activate after 4-5 seconds of not taking any damage or doing any action, and maybe start slow but ramp up to very very fast. just make it a separate stat from movespeed so it doesnt scale anything or by anything. Maybe even make it auto stop instantly if you even see an enemy on your screen. if youre worried about it devaluing movespeed on boots you could just make it scale purely based on boot movespeed too

idk maybe theres some reason not to do this I havent thought of but seems to me like the easiest and most elegant solution
