Why stormweaver?

Infernalist is in these days stronger, yes.
For best optimizations use infernalist.
As good starter it works also as Stormweaver and as Warbringer.

The build fits as starter for cheap 3 exalts and good tank into all northwest-based ascendancies.

I am not sure about too to switch and try infernalist / other ascendancies out too.
Because there are hundreds of infernalist-builds out, I started as Stormweaver.

Stormweaver get's strong with the stacked recoupings and interesting with scaling a second elemental skill. It's possible to buff with arcane surge the own elemental skills additionally.

Now with the new patch and the shiftings to ele-skele-mages the doubled elemental exposures kick wonderful in.

It's extreme flexible and the optimizations of combinations of ele-skills and minion-skills buffing the op-grim feast are a pleasure right now.

Mmhmmmm? Why? Simply wrong.

Probably you forgot yourself really totally clowny all at once the amulet-anointment `deflection` for 30% blockings, the cheap shield implicit 8% blockings, the buff of 'towering shield' 25% blockings, the shield stats, the passives wide barrier, the 7 flexible jewels, the 48 flexible passives in the tree, etc. ? ....

Please simply visit the spoiler "checklist stats": "blockings" when you want to know about the line-up of 75% full blockings.

75% block are easy and early reached when you wear a shield.

And starting from lower 50% blockchances onwards blocking is already imba in this build with the stacked other additional defensive layers.

Thank you Tagmatar!

With the 3 cheap uniques most content is feeling like a sunny walk in the park, yes.

There are some optimizations left to be done, especially in the balance of damageskills, and I continuously improve the build.

In general all minions, also still the arsonists, work. I am travelling these days and do the checkings later. Arsonists, Snipers or Frost Mages probably.

How to apply the Fire exposure?

I tried using the fireball it didn't apply the exposure as the enemy is not ignited by (fireball) skill.

I use solar orb for now but the range is abysmal.

Thank you sirskolzy!

I switched now to link fire exposure to raging spirits for best spreading and uptime.

I hope that with the introduction of the templar in upcoming patches the announced spell totems will be ready to be used for the channelled 100%-140% fire exposure of incinerate, which will probably take the build beyond the capacities of infernalists.

If raging spirits have fire exposure, is their a reason to use fireball still?

Fireball triggers ranged many mobs and it's summoned raging spirits get an additional larger aggro range and so kill some mobs offscreen.
Also the more raging spirirts you summon withg it, the more remnants of grim feast to double and recover your energyshield are granted all over the screen.

But Fireball is not mandatory and you can switch Fireball always to other skills.
You can also easy use unset rings for even more useable skills when wanted.
