Acolyte of Chayula - League Starter/SSF - Off-Meta - Hexblast Monk to get to Endgame (and beyond)

Hello,

As was mentioned, you want mostly int but dont be afraid to get some str or dex if you find an item that requres those stats.

I have a question about Spaghettification, or more the noteable before that; How are we going to offset the 3% loss of life? I haven't looked through all nodes yet, but yeah... ^^ Just wanted to ask.

Regarding ItB and Vitality/Clarity, I probably wouldn't call it nuts, 1% life and 30% more mana regen is not that much all things considered ^^

Thanks for the follow up!

Spagett you don't take until much later in the tree (pretty deep into Maps). You'll just want to off set that with some % life regen, life on kill on gear and Vitality helps a ton here as well.

Mostly, you'll be using Life Flasks until you can offset the Life damage here, as our Life basically becomes our Mana at this point.

A free 30% Mana regeneration buff is absolutely huge for us, it's basically like two notables! If it's true - that also frees up some more spirit to potentially dip into another buff or check out some minions for Minion Pact Support Gems.

Ooooh I haven't seen it from that perspective yet, that absolutely makes sense! ^^ I've played so much HoA Jugg in PoE1, anything that's not using Life is completely alien to me lol Thanks for the explanation^^

So far I've reached A3, pretty smooth sailing with ED+Cont+Enfeeble despite having to be really careful now because of the difficulty spike. Got some nice stuff from vendors too and have about 1k ehp. The Forgemaster will probably be a problem, I'm not sure yet but we'll see :D

Edit; I just saw this - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3621283
Tldr; Blasphemy seems to apply multiple curses already without Whispers of Doom, if this is intentional or not I cannot say.

Edit2: Finally have the build online and it's... wait for it... *a blast* hurhurur :D

Either way I'm still using Contagion because of Chaotic Freeze against masses, rares and bosses. I got the boss to freeze 2 times before he croaked, which was very useful. Freeze downtime seemed to be 2-3 seconds before I could freeze the boss again within 5 Avada Kedavras.

Against masses if you use chaotic freeze and contagion spreads you'll be able to freeze everything that wasn't onehit ^^

Nice write up! Love to see you enjoying it! The thing with Blasphemy definitely seems like a bug, I'll have to check that out, haha.

I think keeping Contagion in the mix makes a ton of sense. Using Chaotic Freeze or Hinder Support can be huge. We could take Hindered Capabilities in our passive tree for an extra slow and 30% boosted damage to Hexblast. This would replace Zone of Control and we would get 4 Passive Skill points back (but would need to press two buttons instead of one!) all in all, that's totally worth it in my book.
According to the skilltree pic we already take Hindered Capabilities *and* Zone of Control^^ Dunno if speccing out of Zone of Control is worth it, as Hexblast can only be cast within the radius of Blasphemy ô.o

That is not true.
You don't get double the stats from breach rings in PoE 2.

You are correct! Breach Rings get a Max of 50% Quality for now, but I believe they will be expanding on that in the future.

Specifically the aspect of Into the Breach which states:

"You are considered to be in a Breach while this skill is active."

Is indicative of this being a benefit, just not right now. Great catch, I will edit that portion of the guide, thank you.

Hello!

We don't get any benefits from the previous nodes and the Notable there only gets us some additional Curse Effect and the Hindered status from curses. I think speccing out of this for the extra passives somewhere else help us more in the long run. The main reason we pick this up later is for Hindered Capabilities, making Hexblast do 30% more damage.

This passive altogether is really nice before you hit Hexblast though!
I have a question, while going through the campaign, after we move to hexblast + blasphemy, would it be beneficial to keep some skills at a certain level until we get enough spirit?
Like i'm currently lvl 62 and i have about 114 spirit, and i was wondering what's the best/most efficient way to go about using spirit early on. because as it is, i won't be able to sustain all the support gems even if i unlock all the slots on bewitched.

Great question!

For my playthrough, I actually got lucky and found a +50 spirit neck piece that I was able to craft up.Any spirit you have should go into Blasphemy first and Withering Presence afterwards. With baseline Blasphemy, one curse and Withering Presence, you'll need 90 Spirit. The absolute minimum to get the build online is 60 Spirit for Blasphemy and one curse gem.

For me, the priority was Blasphemy & one curse > Withering Presence > Clarity.
