Could all of you who say you've quit the game
" maybe the 23 days worth of silence? after their 2nd ip enters early access which is their biggest launch by a mile |
|
" Exactly my point. You've had your say, you've stropped playing and now you've moved on. Thank you |
|
" It's not "down to 260". Weekdays are going to have a decline because of work/school and the holidays just ended. Sunday peak was over 336k, down from 578k at launch. That's around 58% retention after a month. By comparison, PoE 1's best league for retention was Betrayal, at 60.8% after 3 weeks. The game has a lot of issues but let's not go exaggerating player count decline. Last edited by Xenus_Paradox#7530 on Jan 7, 2025, 4:02:49 PM

Extreme negativity is harmful for anything. So is Extreme Positivity which hinders the growth of a product.
Both sides of the extreme is not a healthy way to make something grow, and the forum has full of it. That doesn't mean one should just say stop posting your feedback cause I don't like it, probably just ignore those post? and continue playing as many are doing? If people can't express what's good or what's bad in Early access phase and let things stay at it's current state, then poe2 wont go far with this stance, there are plenty of stuff that needs to be polished, improved, and if people stopped notifying those stuff it will stay as is and make more annoyance then ease for everyone in the long run. You are not playing a full release game, and it should not be treated as a full release game, and people are entitled to their feedback for Early access, rather you like it or not. You might not like others opinion, but maybe those opinion would make some good for the game which you might enjoy later on? who knows. I'd just say stay away of the forums or any platform where players engaging on providing feedbacks and stick to playing, that way you wont get frustrated reading feedbacks and make a judgement call it being negative. Have a good one. Peace. |

" Many folks who say they have "quit" really mean that they have "stopped playing". This is pretty standard when it comes to games like these: it is a very rare select few that play and grind beyond a certain time frame without "quitting". They always come back. There is a crowd of quitters that are overly negative ("the game is trash" crowd) that I agree should just get lost, but as long as they remain civil and actually critically helpful who cares if they are currently playing or not? Now those who say "uninstalled" with a screenshot....they can truly gtfo. There are also some posters who, on every critical thread, post the same inflammatory unhelpful rhetoric. They post it so often and so much that I know like 10 of them by name: they need to be blocked from these forums. Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Jan 7, 2025, 5:16:08 PM

" You do realized there are tons of paid bots in this forum who played xx amount of hours and feel it is too brutal and ruthless ( Well Founded at times ) to QQ about the state of the game. Nothing constructive most of the time, just QQing. Are there tons of problems ? Yes Absolutely and it needs to be tweak and changed. Is it a great game ? Yes absolutely. Are there mechanics that are ridiculous ? Yes absolutely and it needs to be tweaked and changed. Is it not complete ? Yes ! It is early access and not even released. Is the game going to die with people leaving ? Absolutely not. Steam is not the demographics for everything. Seeing as early access is down almost 50% from peak I don't think calling people who have opted to stop playing until changes are made or quit altogether a "vocal minority" is fair.
It's like 40% of the people who bought the game. | |
You can both, hate and love, the same thing. It's called marriage.

Quitting in itself, and the reason why, is feedback.
