Could all of you who say you've quit the game
it's a bad game, but I won't quit

I stopped playing simply because I bricked my first character. Ignite sorc. And didn't have the gold to respec her into something useful.
Then, I played Monk, and got to 40 something. Needed a new staff, and when I was looking people wanted multiple divines for the upgrades I was looking at. Couldn't clear the content I was on without a new staff. So I just went Meh. And closed out and never looked back. Sorry GGG. But I don't like being forced to trade, or to spam orbs on items to progress. I just leave. Last edited by Akedomo#3573 on Jan 8, 2025, 1:45:15 AM

" you see if we dont say anything and coming with constructive4 criticism nothing will change and the game will never become better, so it is better that people come and make threads about what and why the quit so they should keep doing it, but it needs to be constructive criticism, and just because its a negative feedback does not mean its bad feedback Flame on to you too " if everyone did that, they would not know the severity of the problems, it would only look like a few outliers if only a few made the same feedback, instead of many pointing it out, they need to see everyone who has an issue with something, if only 10 people say x is bad and in fact 100 thinks its bad, they only see the 10 people and think its all good, it is not Last edited by Battle_Baboon#3734 on Jan 8, 2025, 2:00:24 AM

" skill issue. there are thousands of people blasting everything on ssf, and most people don't even start trading until they're at maps, simply because it's not needed and an upgrade at level 40 can't cost multiple divines, you were just looking at the wrong items. I'm pretty sure there are very good low level weapons for monk for like 1-2 ex stop blaming the game when it's you "buff grenades" - Buff Grenades (Buff-Grenades) Last edited by auspexa#1404 on Jan 8, 2025, 1:54:06 AM

" Seems to me I just didn't care anymore. Not that it was a skill issue. Why do you always assume someone's skill is the issue? Is that all you value in this game? I just wasn't having fun anymore. My build got bricked because GGG nerfed ignite, and it wasn't apparent till level 40, when bosses started taking forever to kill. That's like 45 points to respect. Didn't have the cash. And then the monk, I got to the molten boss in Act 3, and simply couldn't kill it because my weapon was too weak. Looking at upgrades in trade, had me realizing that I was probably just stuck without asking for help, or being forced to farm multiple divines to buy a staff for leveling. And at that point I had a whole 3 exalts 2 alchs, and 5 chaos to my name. Not really able to do much. I don't find it fun running level 40 zones for currency. Items? Sure. But we all know PoE 2's loot is awful. |

That feedback is just as important as any other one on this forum. People are letting GGG know just how many players they are losing, because for each person that says they're quitting there is 10 or 100 more that don't say it.
Steamcharts is looking pretty dire right now, game had about 330-340k peak players until january 5th. Now the maximum peak has dropped to 254k in the last 24 hours. And this is just steam numbers, more have most likely quit using standalone client and on PS/Xbox aswell. And then we have the question of just what % of the current numbers are bots? I'd say its pretty high. This game has just lost almost 100k players in the last 3-4 days. That's a huge red flag, it means either people got done with campaign and left or they reached endgame and saw how terrible it is and how much it disrespects the player's time. Or you know, they quit because they saw that no major changes are happening after the 2-week vacation of complete radio silence. Releasing this EA just before holidays was a mistake. |

Everyone knows this game has issues...
The SHORT list of things that need to be addressed/fixed/changed/removed in order for players to stop leaving: 1. Exp Penalties 2. The horribly implemented "ascendancy trials" that have nothing whatsoever to do with the ascendancy you're trying to get/progress. 3. Mapping is the ONLY end-game activity (even in POE 1) 4. No travel powers/mounts 5. Costs for respecs instead of free respecs and an armory of some kind to quickly switch between builds 6. The ability to skip the campaign to get to end-game during leagues 7. Stop making us slog through repeated maps... yes they say it's temporary that we have to repeat mirrored acts 1-3, but they said the same thing in POE 1 and we know how that went... 8. Add an actual trade system in-game. I can't believe they ported the bandaid they implemented in POE 1 for trading. How lazy. 9. Bot bans (which right now and for the first few weeks of every league would be roughly half the active population) 10. Hardcore style maps (die once, you lose) So, really... let's not act like the game is perfect. Visit my Steam profile here: https://steamcommunity.com/id/TheBaconOverlord/

" Feedback from people quitting is important because if their reasons get addressed less people will quit the game. |

It call feedback for a reason, exile. On a positive side, they still care about poe 2 to even bother with feedback. If all they do is left or leave a little review like "Bad game 0/10" it'll be even worse.
Slow in, slow out cuz I'm just a player.
