Literally Zero issues to sustain waystones as long as you read a few tooltips.

It's just once again lazy people needing to be herded towards a direction.

Another "Im bad at the game/why is EA game in EA state" post.

All I read is "skill issue", you were probably among the people saying that the elden ring DLC is too hard too xdd

Here we go again with get good at the game...the post makes good points.

I guess you did all ascendancy points on the 1st go? Right?

Elden Ring is not hard, just need to know what the boss mechanics are and after a try or two or three, it's easier but not still a challenge.

Fighting the last boss in trial of suck "my ass" is a joke. Dodge balls, stand in the corner, out run the "shitty" designed one shot rubbish clock. Oh and without the boon for 45% movement speed and 35% on your boots, don't even attempt the boss. Where is the challenge?

So get off your pony, you are trash for a community period.
What the heck, PoE2 simply not PoE1 at all.
7500hours in PoE1 there, i'll never ever spend another 1minute in PoE2 again.
This game is so bad atm
games can be difficult and players will love it, but games that frustrate simply make players quit. 3.26 When?

There is a waystone sustain problem, just not at T15. The problem is lower, where sustaining the level you're at is really tricky. If you're running say, T8, you'll get T3s and 4s dropping, and the occasional T10 and 11, but not enough at the level you're trying to sustain.

So, without knowing what else to do when you run out of T8s, you run that T10, only to die, because you stuck an alch on it and you weren't geared enough. With every tier, the affixes get harder (e.g. extra chaos starts appearing) but without scours there's no way back from that

What to do now? Well, buying waystones via trade site is a mess so you think, "I'll run the one T11 I have only I'll keep it at magic and hope that the affix it rolls isn't too bad"

Only now, there is very low waystone drop chance, and you get a T5 and 6 drop

It is fairly easy to overcome if you go back to trade and get gear that maxes your resists, but it isn't obvious as you only realise the issue once it's blown through your few maps, and now you're back at T6 when you really want to be T9
Just ignore all these people dismissing you, they play streamer builds and RMT while calling you bad.
Waystone sustain is trivial right now as long as you don't fail the key points (bosses), when they up the boss spawn rate and add the tablets to put bosses on maps around towers it will be even more comfortable.

If you are struggling you probably need to look at the types of maps you run and how often you die in them, alch and go (or trans > aug > regal as is the PoE2 version) is extremely reliable and very rarely produces a dangerous map.
I haven't seen a waystone sustain issue. Yes, I got a lot of maps lower tier than what I am running, but while moving up I continuously got a sprinkling of maps *above* the tier I was running as well.

Once I hit T15s I didn't always get a T15 drop at first. But sometimes I would get 3+. I pick up any that are 12 and higher right now, mostly to burn the 12s on towers and to upgrade a few to higher tiers just in case I hit this sustain issue I keep reading about. Currently have 20+ white T15 maps, 10+ blue T15 maps, and a few rares all from drops. I've also donated about 20 white T15s to the guild stash.

I have no rarity on my gear(hence I have no divine orbs...ugh) but maps are not a problem. I also still die occasionally on maps. So I'm just not seeing or understanding this map sustain issue.

Not true, I just started end game, and I have tons of waystones. Yes I had to spend some gold and figure out how they work, but now I m at T6+ and have 4 T6's, 2 T7's, 3 T8's and 1 T9. It took me a full day of playing to level from 76 to 77, having to tweak things here and there, but it's a lot of fun and things are improving slowly but surely!

Just FYI, I have never played POE1 end game so I have no real experience. I am having a blast and looking forward to the changes, and happy to hear about some of the tweaks to end game monster behavior (like the spell that can potentially crash a meteor on your head off screen. Had to that kill me at the very end of a map once).

Just saying "not true" doesn't magically change the experience I showed above

The drops for at-level waystones start tanking around T8, by T10 I was lucky if I saw one T10 in 5 maps drop, if I'd have seen this coming earlier I would have saved all the boss maps for higher tiers
