0.1.1 changes to bleed vs. energy shield

I'd like to point out that Chaos Inoculation will be unplayable if bleeds are changed to be applied through energy shields in 0.1.1.
Any white mob with bleeds would one-shot you without counter play.

we will have to see, how much this affect energy shield . Mostly Energy Character use Blink. So u can Blink out of situations or use the bleed charm.

Movement will give u the Bleed damage. With Blink u can control this a bit.

But this ist mostly the reason , why i think - most of the players must go Hybrid again and than magic Find will suffer, because u need 1 suffix more for Chaos resistance

They are making bleed effect energy shield.

Bleeding damage bypasses energy shield. If your max HP is 1, you'll be one-shot.
Currently, only damage to your health pool can apply bleeding debuffs, which means you're practically immune to it with CI.
If it's changed so that damage to energy shields can apply bleeds, CI is unplayable. Unless of course, bleeding damage no longer bypasses ES.

There's the "always bleeds" monster modifier, not sure if it applies to damage to ES though.

Can't you play CI with MOM passive key though? Does bleeding also by passes mom? I doubt.

Go hover to "bleeding" tooltip in game, it explains clearly that "Bleed bypasses energy shield" . The problem is not about whether it is bypasses or not, but whether the dot damage bypasses energy shield or not. Because there is another explanation that states "Only damage to life will contribute to Bleeding".

So the question is ; If a hit inflict bleeding, but because the damage goes to energy shield first, does the bleed dot deal damage to health or not ?

The question asked to Jonathan and Mark in previous podcast was just about "bleed does not bypasses energy shield" , which the answer is obvious that it should. But DM and Ghazzy didn't ask about whether if the dot damage bypasses ES or not if the hit goes through ES first. The context regarding the bleed was not clear enough.

CI abusers angry they might have a weakness.

Just change Chaos Innoculation then, its not like the game isn't still in development or anything.

Before

Immune to chaos damage
1 hp

Becomes

75% less chaos and bleed damage
80% less hp

Or something.
