CI is "immune" to bleed, whether it's playing word games or actually discussing game concepts, it would be silly to emphasize this boring textual difference, because it actually works as immunity.

Imagine a ES build with 2k Life and 9k ES. If that character gets hit for 10k phys damage and starts bleeding, they have time to pause the game and logout to avoid death.

Now imagine they spec CI. They now have 1 life and 9k ES. That same hit kills them straight up. CI has not made them "immune" to bleed in any way. They are just dead because the life which would have protected them from the bleed for a few seconds is gone. The build without CI is MORE immune to bleed than the one with it.

CI makes you immune to chaos at the cost of making you less tanky against everything else. You are not immune to bleed, you just stop *caring* about bleed because you know you are dead anyways before a bleed will ever hit you. That is a huge difference.

There is also the potential for future items/skills in the game that deal bleed damage to you as a downside. CI builds would be unable to use them.

And we need to think about something else, bleed builds are unplayable, since the rule of only applying bleed by dealing damage to health applies to monsters, so any monster with ES destroys any bleed build

Exactly, that's where Ghazzy's question came from during the stream and Jonathan was surprised it's currently implemented that way.
I'm all for changing it for bleed builds but if that happens, CI needs to be changed as well. Speccing into CI shouldn't mean you'll be one-shot by any hit that can bleed, without any counter play (except "don't get hit").

Then we all need to die in order to be immune to everything.

CI abusers angry they might have a weakness.

people are not abusing ci, they as using it, and its not a weakness it would make the keystone completely unusable.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
There are Bleed charms, Uniques that convert bleed damage taken into fire damage taken. I am sure with the amount of belts that give charm duration charges even passives that give % chance to not consume charges, there is ur solution. I mean if the implement it tomorrow atleast.
