Do yourself a favor and hop on PoE1 if you never had.

I have about 300 hours in PoE1.

I love it, it's good, but I honestly prefer PoE2.

And if anyone is waiting on 2 to get more patches, bugs to be fixed, playing 1 should be quite doable. It does suffer in the sense of there is just so much stuff going on mechanically end-game that it can be overwhelming, but it is still an overall polished game, with plenty to do in between patches to 2. It also shows continued support, if that is something that interests you as a player.

I have a level 90 warrior as well as a few other alts. A merc and a sorc. Thats fine I fully expect the nerf to happen. Looking forward to trying out the new classes and finding the next broken thing

You never even give them any credit for having good points or try to understand their point of view. You expect to bludgeon them or silence them. Instead of addressing the point and having some respect for those that have been with this game for decades. People that have been playing POE longer than me, the streamers, the major content creators largely agree with the many problems here but the fans of POE2 simply tell us to shut up and go play POE1. That is why we are so negative to the private profile newcommer crowd.

Maybe it was inevitable and GGG should have been clear they are building a new game, not a successor to Path of Exile. This game is FAR worse than Path of Exile.
