Do yourself a favor and hop on PoE1 if you never had.

rly don't feel like playing poe 1 i quit years ago, it's old. Still a great game tho i played thousands of houres and i loved it. Would recomand playing it if you're new and like poe2 but yeah after so many houres bruu i mean there's other games :D

bro the game is in early access. Beta. Stop comparing a game that has been built on for 10 plus years to a game that is bare bones and has a lot of work to be done on it.

Thats why we label poe1 players as whiners and entitled. They expect the game to be finished and complete in its beta stage. poe1 was very similar to poe2 in it's beta stage. You guys are over reacting. Just go play poe1 while poe2 cooks. Obviously beta testing is not for you.

And as we have pointed out repeatedly POE2 is 95% copying POE1's homework and then messing it up making mistakes we thought they learned from years ago. And POE2 has, confirmed by GGG, stopped POE1 development completely. You just don't want to think about a counter to that fact so you attack the posting player.

I never played PoE1 except until the end of the starting beach.

Because I have been quite enjoying PoE2, I gave PoE1 another try and I have been very much enjoying it. I like the pace a lot more, the difficulty feels betters and my skills are much more fun and effective.

I've actually stopped playing PoE2 for now. As a player who is not trading, I am finding it quite a frustrating experience.

See? this is why you're just a troll. the post is literally a suggestion to new players to try PoE1 out in the meantime(which is exactly what you just said as well) if they never did, because there's a community driven event going on. but you can't even READ and yet you pull all this nonsense of ''WE think PoE1 players are this or that...'' out of your ass

POE2 is MUCH more zoomy. Clearing enemies three screens away and one shotting bosses. Happens in POE1 but not nearly as much and only when a player is in VERY VERY late game with builds that are so expensive 99% of the playerbase wont get there. In fact in POE2, ONLY zoom screen clearing builds will survive the tedious endgame. And even with all that involved most endgame zoom POE1 builds are FAR less zoomy and screen clearing than POE2.

Pretty sure MOST POE2 players would feel the same. POE1 wasnt niche because it was a bad game. It was a niche because it had the marketing budget of a child with a lemonade stand.
