91k Phrecia peak vs 234k DotH peak

I play POE 1 on stand-alone client and not on Steam. I am sure many do as well. So I am sorry...the OP numbers cannot carry weight.
230k is embarrassing for the first league launch. Let's be honest here, next week player numbers will be down to 100k and that's with chinese players on top.

Not even the bots want to log in
PoE1 new league when?
Oh no. So if less people play then I will enjoy the game less?
I seriously starting to think steam charts are selling numbers.

Ofcourse, ignoring the SSF minority, trade is dead if less players. Therefore, less enjoyable.

Fake news. The majority of players play through Steam, not Standalone. It's not even close.

GGG themselves stated that their highest peak, Settlers, was 350k. 228k of said 350k being on Steam alone means at least 65% are using Steam with the remainder 35% being split between Standalone and Consoles.

Like it or not, the majority plays through Steam and using Steam numbers as a metric is more than valid to prove a point. Numbers don't lie, neither do actual facts. Do the math.

Standalone players are the minority and it's not even close.
last I checked 350k was a larger number than 234k.

Yes, 350k total and 234k of those 350k were on Steam. That leaves a meager 116k split between Standalone and Console.

I think he's referring to the 234k peak on Steam for PoE2 0.2.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
