last I checked 350k was a larger number than 234k.
Yes, 350k total and 234k of those 350k were on Steam. That leaves a meager 116k split between Standalone and Console.

I think he's referring to the 234k peak on Steam for PoE2 0.2.
You're right, I made a mistake. Thanks for correcting me here. However, we don't have standalone and console numbers for PoE 2, unlike PoE 1, so for all we know it could be way above 350k right now.

it wasn't 228k it was 350k which is more than DotH's 234k.
We know less than 15% of the player base is on console which would make DotH's real number be a maximum of 270k. 350k > 270k making this whole post wrong.

Assuming non-visible numbers (including standalone and console) isn't a fact though. Lmao. I'm talking about raw data here, not some wishful thinking.

We better hold on to that.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

You don't know the amount of Standalone players though. ;)

True that. Which is why I said it could be - which we don't know for sure. However, just using Steam numbers alone - and those are in fact the majority of players - the whole comparison draws a pretty evident picture. What you make out of that is up to you.

Glad we agree on something, and it's not looking good for PoE2.

How is it not looking good for PoE2?
The game already got a higher amount of players just during a very tiny patch than PoE1 during more than a decade and several banger leagues. And in this case PoE2 isn't even open to all the f2p gobbers yet.

Let's be real, it's looking more than good for PoE2 the game is gonna be fine just as PoE1 is. In fact it took PoE1 nearly a decade to reach the current highest all-time peak, which are still lower than PoE2 numbers during a fresh patch.

Don't be a doomer
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

Let's also not forget they kept some part of the patch notes hidden because we pretty much knew it was going to be shit.

Peak on release was 238k, peak on a saturday was 234k. A drop to 191k, on a sunday. Reviews are also double negative than positive.

Since, i guess, it was not obvious enough.

Yeah, looking good. /s.

Comparing a poe 1 league ON ITS THIRD RE-RELEASE thats almost a year old to their brand new title launch. How about comparing apples to apples and compare poe 2 release to now which is a drop of 400k players....

Now release a NEW poe 1 league against poe 2 and see what happens, we are unlikely to see a new POE 1 league for mths if at all this year because they know it will crush whatever hype is left for poe 2.

Settlers league can almost be called standard 2.0 at this stage. cowards.

Hmmm weird, we're at 244k now - more than Friday. Guess it can't be that bad after all, eh.

only a drop of 400k players to peak poe 1 league numbers from almost a year ago. but i like your rage bait arguments of comparing poe 2 to a poe 1 league a year old.
