Listening to the community too much is what ruined PoE 1 for many of us.

I also would like to add my vote to this thread, I love the game, and while it is not perfect, it definitly reconciled me with path of exile, I really don't want a zooom zoom loot generator... I am more than OK to go trhough some rough iterations and let the devs cook; even if it means some frustrations along the way;

Yeah the criticism is misdirected. I came to poe 1 because diablo 3 was so easy and loot explosion focused. And I know many streamers and players taking that exact journey. We wanted something more meaningful and engaging. Poe1 offered that at the time. It was similar to poe 2 today in some ways. Over the years it has obviously become insane in clearspeed, even surpassing d3.

Where poe2 fails is the focus on rng and sacrificing qol, calling it difficult. Its only frustrating and the wrong type of difficulty. The speed is much better than poe1 though. I really hope they can sift through the feedback and take the actual meaningful ones. More loot is not the answer lol. Well except skill gems. Giving us actual crafting would be a much better direction. Also ascendancies could be much better. Id take lab any day over what we got.

I dont know any long time player that wants diablo gameplay in poe2.

i played poe 1 settlers almost every day. and every day i am having fun.
playing new builds. trying my own builds. every day is a blast for me

never touched poe2.

playing hardcore ssf and i honestly dont think the game is zoom zoom as some people say.

the game can be zoom zoom, it can be easy and it can be ridiculously hard.

i honestly think poe1 is in its best stage it ever was. (except the recent server issues, that started with the release of the latest poe2 league. disconnects, rollbacks. )

i have 24k hours and still having fun playing. imagine that

it's blizz north all over again. no one communicates on the forums, reddit, etc like they used to. all lead people vanished, and the rest of the team just work to get that juicy tencent check

the tides have changed. sadly, for the worst

how in the world can you say all those skills and gameplay variations were about blasting? that's a poe1 zoom zoom term, not a core arpg value.

in fact, earlier versions of poe1 100% had meaningful gameplay. especially when loot timers were involved, and party play wasn't 5 fps with 90000 projectiles. go look up kripp's corpse explosion video, positioning yourself to get loot next to a boss/rare mob was a thing. it was not all about blasting.

They need to improve with mechanics, or it will become a non update game. Also, they made choices (SSF, Ruthless). Reading you comment you may enjoy it. I agree a bit, the challenge is fine, just need a bit of balance if paying trade league.

I don't know is not an excuse. This highlights the importance of being aware of and taking responsibility for one's actions, even if they are unintentional or based on a lack of knowledge. It emphasizes that ignorance, especially of the law, cannot be used as a valid reason to escape accountability.

You also posits that lying is victimless. It complicit people in your wrongdoings when they believe it. Lying is the direct opposition of truth and the denial of reality, which have detrimental consequences.

It just happened I read your post. There isn't really any other logical explanation beside this. Some people are just utterly unlucky.

And the community is definitely at fault here. Singling out people and calling them the problem when they are clearly doing something with passion makes them want to communicate less and less since there is 0 appreciation.

Hell, that's why reddit comunication from GGG stopped.
