That's one hell of a contradiction. No risk = no fun?! But then you complain about a penalty? That is kind of funny.
It takes you 50-60 maps to lvl from 99 to 100 with abyss or breach or whatever. That is like 3-4 hours of gaming if you really go for it. Go play T17s afterwards. Or just settle for lvl 97 or whatever...

How about, if u dislike t17 map mods, just dont do t17s?
U might now say well all the money is in t17s, but how about crafting?
Maybe u would prefer some hunting einhaar beasts? More rewarding in t5 maps than in t17.
Or lets take harbingers... their drops are exactly the same in t1 maps as they are in t17, they even got a higher chance for good drops in campaign as they cannot drop harbinger or horizon shards.
Or if u wanna really do t17s u could just skip the mods you dislike. Get a regx if u want it easily sorted.

This has all been said a hundred times before.
The DEVs just don't care about anything you say.

If they did they would have fixed this AND many other things long before today.

And from what i see they are goning to do the same stuff again in POE2.
