Remove -10% from game

You definitely have to remove -10% of the experience for death, and now I'll tell you why.:
1. In endgame, it doesn't motivate you to find the best items for the build, simply because they don't exist for any money. All the best is already on the character.
2. Due to the unwillingness to lose the hard-earned experience, the player does not go to the most interesting content.
3. Players who come from other games, seeing this, twist their finger at their temples and say, "Are you masochists playing this? We don't have that in D4.
4. Yes, I like this game, but the penalty is based on experience, believe me, it's not cool. At some point, you realize that your build has reached the ceiling and there is no further progress. Otherwise, you're wasting your time, or you're redesigning the build for the meta. I think that's not cool either.
And finally. Yes, you made an omen, under the action of which 1 time per map the player gets -2.5% experience instead of -10%, but it's still not cool, because for 1 map the player gets 1% or less. And anyway, after death, he will no longer go for an interesting and exciting monster or boss, even if there are still portals left.
Please remove the -10% death penalty. You'll see, it'll be better.

Nah. PoE 1 survived the death penalty. PoE 2 will survive it too. You're not getting free level 100's - get better and die less.

(...) You'll see, it'll be better.

Said (almost) every d3 diablo player ever, which led to the subsequent demise of the franchise and dumbification of the genre as a whole that's tainted poe1+2 as well to some degree.

Developers who give in to players on everything are not designing their game anymore, they are simply pandering to the masses.

They should tone it down by few precent til like 90 then its okay.
-1
XP loss stays.
Just check my comments if you want to know why.
Or what? What are you going to do lol

Poe 1 survived for 13 years with it on.

To make it clear: my gaming experience is more than 20 years of D2, more than 7 years of PoE 1 and in PoE 2 from the start. And I've never played meta builds! Tell me, how many playable builds are there in PoE 2 now? 5, 10? Instead of hundreds possible?
One more thing: no matter how equipped the character was, no one canceled the RIPs from random oneshots. There is no log and there will not be. The defense doesn't work. Mob's damage is not balanced at all... A bunch of RIPs in the lags (there were over 700 of them in this league!) The conclusion is simple: either you play meta, no brain one-button build, and you're fine, or you turn on your head, try something unusual, and suffer because you can't progress.
PoE 2 is beautiful. Here, unlike PoE 1, you can use a relatively weak build to get to the Arbiter Of Ash and punch him in the face, and it could become a game for the next 20 years, but if it goes the way it is, then I don't have faith in it!

Nah no thanks. If GGG did that I would have to resort to playing HC for having consequences of dying, and I don't have that kind of time or survival skills. :D It would be braindead operation to me, if every character is promised to reach level 100, with no impact of choices for the achievements.

I thought that I would like it when they removed the experience penalty from the Pinnacle bosses, but I just lost all interest of playing good in them because dying felt inconsequential.

I do think they should revisit this now that the uber variant uses different fragments, and there is probably less new players complaining about it.

I liked the risk. Having your fragments on the line for one life made it more exciting.
