Forced 6 mods feels terrible

I have tried to playthrough my dislike and see the silver lining since last patch but I agree it just doesn't feel very fun. It feels anti-fun, to me. The way end game is now, well in fairness I feel it has always been bad, but for me this made it worse. I know some people like it and I am happy for them, but I hate it and won't play again if this is how it stays.

So now we HAVE to run 6 modifiers on our maps, every map

No you absolutely definitely do not have to do that. What is it with these posts every day?

You WANT to do that, because you WANT to maximize your rewards, but you absolutely do not HAVE to do it and you're definitely not being FORCED to.

Running 2 tablets on 100% of your nodes is giving you better average per-map output than you were getting before the patch so even if you're not ready to run 6-mod/1-portal maps consistently, you're still better off and I have no idea why so many of you are having trouble with that fact.

Because if you don't you're outright missing a table slot and that feels terrible

It feels exactly the same amount of terrible as before the patch when you had to sometimes run nodes which were not maximally juiced except now instead of all-or-nothing you're guaranteed that every map is going to be at least decent.

This sucks my dudes.

It really doesn't and I genuinely don't know how so many of you are coming to this conclusion like did you play the game before 0.3.1? You're definitely better off now ESPECIALLY if you struggle with 1-portal maps.

Every time I get closed out of a an Abyssal Depths or flub a Waystone I get motivated to think about my build and consider whether I can do any kind of rebalancing to prevent the same thing from happening in the future. Should I try anointing Sitting Duck instead of Lockdown? Would I have lived if I had Glancing Deflection instead of Crystalline Resilience? Did the small delay in my last Flash Grenade get me - should I swap a Cooldown Reduction gem so it's more reliable? Was I slowed when I died? Maybe if I made room for Light on Your Feet I would have gotten clear of the AoE or ground effect...

Slowly over time these failures and my subsequent tweaks to passives, gearing, jewels, support gems, runes, etc. lead to fewer and fewer deaths and more consistent successful completion and its exactly this process that makes PoE so compelling and enjoyable for me.

Give me a bunch of "do overs" so all I have to do when I fail is try again and hope for better RNG and you've basically ripped the heart out of the game from my perspective.
That was the Vision from the get go. After receiving deserved backlash they changed it only to sneakily bring it back again with the latest patch. They are literally fighting with their community which I find hilarious. Great game devs for sure.

They are fighting with a community.

Their community and the specific subset of the community they are struggling with are not the same community my guy.

GGG is dealing with the fact that people like you are a part of a very vocal community who can impact the perception of the game in online discussion spaces, but don't actually represent a significant portion of their potential future revenue despite what you all seem to believe (that you're the only ones who play this game).

What they're trying to do is make the game they want to make while keeping you guys happy enough to avoid triggering another feeding frenzy like when 0.2 dropped and thousands of negative steam reviews got posted by people who had literally 0 hours played in the patch and were just copy-pasting talking points from PoE1 streamers.
im running so many 6 mod maps and getting so many tinks

Not forced to run 6 mod maps. Not forced to do anything. Same thing regurgitated over and over.

You are if you want maximum juicing. If poe 1 had a 6 mod requirement to run max scarabs there would be riots.

Max juice is not mandatory to make currency, progress through endgame or level up,

You always start less efficient and build your way up.
I'm enjoying the new system, and I usually only run 3 mods on maps. However, I get it if you're not enjoying it. You do you. Everyone has their own grind.

If you're not enjoying PoE2, how about trying No Rest For The Wicked, Titan Quest II, or Last Epoch, instead? They are all great in their own ways.

Your time is precious, and if you're not having fun, then what's the point of playing the game?

If you cant run 3 tablet 6 mod maps, then you have to resort to less mods. Or run lower tier Maps. The biggest difference between lower tier waystones and higher tier waystones is the experience gain and not the loot. In my experience the tier of the Waystone doesnt notably affect the currency rarity/quantity.
