So how do we feel about Keepers of the Flame efter a few days?

I agree the walls are tedious as f... and do not serve a purpose as well as taking far too much space in map.

The tree is cool though suffered the usual loot nerf after the first 3 days making it very mid.

The best thing is picking up decent gear on the cheap from instant buyout trading.
My first ever level 100 from... just playing solo, no rotations, no domain of conflict crap.

Gotta hand it to them, they still got it.

Tweaked settings, added launch options, loading times were better for two days and now its back to fifteen minute waits to load the game.

Apparently this game is only for loaded streamers now.
For me this is best league since 2012 year.

First time I have 100lvl char, and second time 40/40 done.
/played 10 days 13h so far, tons of fun!

1. Asynchronous trade is HUGE UPGRADE
2. 80% of league content don't interrupt mapping or using sub portals.
3. Easy access to 6L
4. Minion builds are more then fine.

downsides and missing stuff :

1. T17 map layouts are ultra bad and annoying
2. PoE need visual clarity sliders in menu: to tune how much spell effect ( ours and enemies too ) we see on screen, and to hide minions cluttering screen
Critical telegraphs should be clearly, distinctly visible
3. I need way more maps like Dunes, Beach, Jungle Valley : open space FTW
4. Immunity phases on bosses and Maven memory game should be removed from PoE completly
5. Uber Lab trial should be in white maps ( 1-5 ) and never repeated if you completed any of 1/6 ( until you got 6/6 )
6. All gems inducing Transfigured skill gems should be aviable in act4 vendor npc
7. exp death penalty should be removed from PoE
8. Spectre minion system need HUGE rework, it should be safe and cheap
9. 37 divine for Perfect Forest Tiger spectre is an insult, and you can delete it very easy by accident

First league ever in which I think GGG respects the players' time (solo, not trade).
after maxing challenges, i just have to save the league is fine. There are only 2 endgame strats to build chars for but still, thats fine,
main negative point is the league mechanic. Its quite pointless after reaching the real endgame. It even cheaper to just buy those good bases from someone who stll does the tree. Mostly i only run the fortress for blood.

League mechanic: Sloppy and boring. Revamping PoE1's leagues is PoE2's job, not PoE1's. But seriously, anything that adds a colour tint to the screen is awful in a game that already has such a lackluster visual clarity. If Terminator 2D: No Fate wasn't delayed I would've probably quit the league after completing the Atlas because the rewards for this league are not very interesting either (for me).

Content: Good. Foulborn uniques are OK, ascendancies based on other league mechanics are a great idea. It gives your character a bit of "personality" depending on what league mechanic is your favourite (well, not exactly since sometimes your build and your favourite league may not match but it could be something to consider in the future specially if they add ascendancies for Blight, Heist, etc).
Grafts are a cheaper investment than mercenaries and a great way for players to get unstuck. Mercenaries are still conceptually cooler though.
The tree mechanic is interesting. Anything that helps us controller players avoid browsing through ground loot is welcomed.

QoL Improvements: Absolutely stellar. Integrated trade menu and merchant tabs are the best thing that happened to PoE1 in my opinion. Some improvements are so good that it probably made other content seem outdated (like regular map loot, of which we all filter 95% of it anyway).

I hope for the next league they introduce good looking biomes like the prison from PoE2 or some bucolic scenery.

+1 to everything except Kingsmarch. If you're a dedicated player you can 100% ignore it and, if you're a casual, Kingsmarch can subsidize long breaks from the game and it also helps break bad luck streaks. It's just my opinion though.
Either way, the day they remove XP penalties for standard I vow to buy another supporter pack.

What exactly is the point of this? You get an offering for any of the trials anyway. Doesn't matter if you run the same trial 50 times, you get 50 offerings to run 50 uber labs. lol

Hard disagree. EXP penalty is there so people can't just bruteforce lvl 100 quickly on juiced maps unless they play around their character's weaknesses. They've already removed EXP penalty from boss encounters which I think is fair, but removing it alltogether makes levelling just more boring in my opinion as there's no need to be careful with anything you do.
