True, most people do not spend much time on the forums. Those who do are almost always sharing frustrations, or are particularly dedicated players. Those with no major issues are usually busy playing the game, or engaged elsewhere. I hate to be the bearer of clarity but “one-shot” means 100% to death, not 50 or 60% to death. Even generously speaking, it is only the 1% of that small minority who might encounter issues with these waves, typically because they are running suboptimal characters with little to no defense. So obviously, these characters fold easily to even the most moderate challenges that everyone else handles just fine.

It is unsurprising, given that GGG does not design content around the characters of the minority as a baseline, that these issues arise only in such extreme and rare cases.

In contrast to prove you wrong I only need to find one map mod which affects the Pulse. In fact I found several which I described here in this thread.

It literally is affected by map mods, that's why I got oneshot in a random corrupted t16 8-mod map. And all the other times I've done hives the explosion only did half my hp or a bit more. Its absolutely random and unexpected when I get oneshot by some mechanic that the game doesn't even tell me is affected by the map mods on my map. That's the game's fault for not providing info to the player lol

Has self described glass cannon bosser build. Dies in mapping content to damage that barely affects good builds.

Loudly complains about this totally unpredictable outcome and how it needs to be changed.
