I can delete any pineapple boss in the game and run the juiciest T16s. Sure, some of those maps get spicy, but it's still normal PoE difficulty - build it right, play it right, you win.
Then I walk into Trials and suddenly I'm getting periodically slapped around by a completely different rulebook, like I accidentally queued for a rogue-like inside my ARPG. People can call it a skill issue if they want, but I'm not going to pretend this is the same kind of "learn the fight" challenge.
This isn't "git gud", it's "git used to a weird mandatory minigame". If the endgame is a power-and-mechanics check and Trials are a roulette of punishments stapled onto ascendancy progression, that's not good difficulty - that's bad design.
