ascendancy trials are TRASH content.

STRONGLY DISAGREE.

Sekhema is better than Sanctum.

And Chaos Trials still somewhat engaging, but ultimatum buff/debuff crap sux and doesn't fit in POE2. It feels, lazy?

Both could have more improvement so that we can have meaningful, tactical fights, mission.

This isn't about good, it isn't fun for people. If you think it's fun, great good for you. The rest of us a re asking for a way to ascend that doesn't force us to engage in one of two systems that are so bad that some people just give up on character or the game on whole.

exactly.
the reason i stop playing leagues is a mix of not being interested in TOC/suckmyass for ascendancy and not being interested in the length of campaign.
this league was a breaking point for me. i quit before the end of campaign and have had zero interest in returning.

the 'git gud' thing is also an absolute joke. i have absolutely farmed ALL the hardest bosses at the highest tier, run absolutely cranked maps ect.
i simply despise the way we are forced to ascend and am not currently playing the game because of it.

we have plenty of great games to play right now, not going to spend time on one that has been actively ignoring extremely common feedback since 0.1.

do the chaos trial instead then.


If the ascendancy is too hard for you then I highly doubt you are running any juiced content


Seems like a contradictory statements

I disagree. Both trials expect you to learn skill sets that are super useful in all parts of the game. Namely, just how powerful dodge is and how powerful good mechanics are.

Because it's the problem with getting close to the enemy to farm charges, do damage, etc
The problem is not with weak Relics, the problem is that for melee characters you get hit and loose Honour, not HP.

0.4 is my first league, I'm playing melee, mainly Staggering Palm, Killing Palm as Mercenary.

Got 2nd ascendancy via Sekhema in 2nd try, 4th ascendancy in 1st try.

I think think the trials is fine as melee, well WitchHunter.

Tbf, WH have sorcery ward that probably block honour loss?
And 217% increased culling might've cheesed most mobs.

you understand that we are in the FOURTH major patch of the game, right?

if you are going to try to troll at least put some effort in. this just makes you look like you know which rocks taste the best.

You know its a bad design when beginners cant get the first few ascendancy points done and constantly ask for help to get them done in global chat.

I am somebody who likes the lords labyrinth in POE1 quite a bit. Its fast, if you know what you doing and once you understand the layout, and overall its enjoyable.

Trial of sekhemas is clearly favouring evasion and ranged builds. Thats a nogo for a trial to require a specific build!

Trial of chaos is mostly walking, standing around, counting the seconds. And you can not speed it up. Also looks like it missed the NextGen update everthing looks super boring.
And you need to do it 3x unless you buy the fragments...

So overall non of the current trials in POE2 is enjoyable to me...

It does block honour loss and i doubt it's intended.
Darkness do the same, it was patched at a moment but that bug is back.

So yeah i wouldnt compare if using sorcery ward because it's very cheesy (borderline cheating) with it.

I love the trial of Sekhema personaly, cheers all =)
