Can you point to a single instance of an event having a version number

"Relevance? Far as Im aware no one here claimed that events have version numbers. I claimed that proper patch notes come with version numbers. So if no version number/s is/are provided its a tell for it not being proper patch notes. Edit: Im not implying that the latest announcement is (improper) patch notes. What a cop-out. I thought your argument is that we haven't seen patch notes for the event yet because it doesn't come with a version number, although no Event in the 10 years that I remember has had a version number, so in essence we never received patch notes for any event, ever?

Patch notes should have version numbers. And far as Im aware all client patch notes at least have numbers that are given to players. Just looked at the patch notes forum. The only entries on the first page which do not have a number are "Server Maintenance". "What Im saying (if thats really unclear?) is that my previous statement "No patch notes so far." was correct and potentially relevant. If you are arguing about something else please do make this clear. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
