You can change it back to the old style in the options. Trust me, FF4 is significantly faster than FF3.6 and well worth the transition.

Ya true. I have to say i like how the tabs are up top. I frequent flash games so usually i have to key F11, but with all the saved screen space i don't have to. Its pretty nice.

Tpapp is right the transition is defiantly worth it plus you can change it back to the original interface.

I didn't realise FF4 was released. So I just installed it.
I then spent the next 10 minutes figuring out how to undo all the changes they'd made (tabs on top, no status bar, etc.)

Don't know why they insist on making random arbitrary changes like this. People who used the status bar didn't like the change because it wasn't there anymore. And people who turned the status bar off didn't like the change either, because now they had an anoyying little popup thing appearing all the time.

On the plus side, now I can resize this miniscule text box :O hooray!

Actually I use both, IE9 and FF4, seem about the same to me, but IE9 is my default browser right now.

As I said before, I use all major 3 browsers for different purposes but for personal things Chrome is my favourite.

I just want to say;

Google... for everything!

Still waiting for their desktop OS in fact.

Ya i was thinking about switching to a nontraditional OS, but with school and only one computer it makes things kind of tough with compatibility.

Ya i have IE, FF, and Chrome. I've just been using FF because Blackboard and my school email are compatible. Chrome does have potential, but it needs more compatibility thats what it's lacking. All though that is not google's fault its lazy web developers. How much do i pay a year and they can't put in a decent email system or even make it compatible.

I've never actually tried Opera. Will have to check it out.
