Player based will leave and this game will die out if they don't remove the XP Penalty

I think if you are asking for a Softcore league with no death penalties that's making it easier and even removing the point of dying. Which would be solved by having a no death league, simply put. A training wheels program, of sort.

Other games do it. I think that would be great for the game and played by many, don't you think ?

Your arrogance on every post is rediculous and condecending. Playing end game and having good build isn't some godly high iq achievement. You can be good at a game and still dislike things lol. And according to ggg this is a place holder and not intended to be the real endgame. Why the hell do you keep deffending it?.

I swear your just a complete troll and get kicks from thinking your better than people.

??? What's wrong with you, I'm just proposing a fair alternative. What did I say that offended you ?

I reported the other guy baby comment, not you.

What about a Baby league instead, where you just can't die ; instead of changing the rules of Softcore. If you can't die, no xp penalty, no map loss. And the lower the health, the darker your screen (scary!)

You're implying that those unhappy with the XP penalty (along with 4 other layers of punishment that are generally accepted) are babies. Sounds like a violation of the code of conduct to me - being antagonistic in an obnoxious manner.

Advice: don't feed these type of people.

Their biggest accomplishment is believing they're good at the single player videogame and that it gives them the right to talk down on others.
The forum (and global chat) is full of them.

Your best course of action is simply ignoring it completely. Not to mention they add nothing to the discussion at hand and their posts speak more about them than anything else.

About this post itself: there are a multitude of factors inside this game that pushes away "the majority" of the playerbase. IMO exp loss is one of the smallest ones in the case of PoE 2. Leveling up until lvl 90 is "pretty fast".
I wouldn't say no to a reapproach on the exp penalty, but considering how long PoE1 remained profitable the exp penalty on its own won't make people leave. Far more likely to be one-attempt maps that cost you loot, mechanics, tower influence, waystone, AND the exp penalty that is gonna make people quit.

So, you didn't talk about the subject which is to have two different leagues, one easier for casuals and one harder for elite, and you are condescending towards the people actually participating to the subject because you consider the leveling pretty fast...

So, exaclty like these type of people

Ok !

So having a Baby league where you just can't die would solve all these problems in one go. Why are you people so much against it when it's all you truly need ? I don't get it.
i left because of the exp penalty, although hardcore is still a fun experience in poe2. I just don't think you should have to play softcore essentially the same way as hardcore in order to progress at higher levels in softcore. softcore should be more risky, fun, rewarding content and instead is boring and punishing in the worst ways.

POE 1 player based is different from POE 2 player based, lots of new and casual players. Never compare the past from the present, because it's a different timeline.

Speaking for myself, it's way worse to lose XP than the other punishments. Taking away progress earned is more offensive than just losing time and waystones & is the primary reason that this game stopped being my every day game.
