SO, I actually checked the links you provided. FIrst off, kinda a wierd flex to post references to several well known streamers while flexing that everyone else needs to copy builds from "streamers". in .1 You had literally DOZENS of builds capable of smashing endgame, and over a dozen doing so at a GOD TIER LEVEL....

I think the point people are making about diversity is that you arent seeing many mage builds at all this season minus a couple that are beyond C+-B+ tier.

ALMOST EVERY META revolves around PSN/BLEED/SPEARS (not all, almost)

Looking at a POE skill tree, dozens of new skills, supports, gems, items, and seeing 7-10 builds crawl out as a META/ A+ Tier build, is hardly "DIVERSITY"

Diversity is seeing people do different things from ALL PERSPECTIVES ranging from minions-melee-slow smash-speed smash-ranged attack- elemental melee-elemental caster- chaos- bleed etc....

There should be numerous builds from almost every corner popping up on top. THis game isn't that difficult, and YOU are most definitely NOT the best player in POE2, so please stop being so condescending to everyone who disagrees with you....

I do see your point in small portions, as people do tend to complain quick and jump on "bandwagons", but to say this season was a success in the field of "diversity" is a joke.

FYI, I havent even made a huntress or a lich yet. I beat everything on BM Crit build that i did myself. It isnt the best in the game by far, but it got the job done okay. Is it frustrating to see someone just slap on a new spear and do x4 more dps though with a "cookie cutter" concept of basically every other spear build and/or psn/bleed, yes, but at least I built it myself with no guide etc.

I think the point ppl are making that you are ignoring or too arrogant to hear is that they would prefer not to see so much nerfed to the floor, see equal representation across numerous classes/ascendancies, rather than see a select handful out of the thousands of possibilities, bc that is EXACTLY how it SHOULD BE!
There should be WAYYYYY more meta, and with ALOT OF THEM doing very different things as well as variants doing the same but on a diff class.....not what we got in .2

but hey, even POE1 and D2 took alot longer than people remember to get right to the point where they were held to such high regard. There is hope for alot of us, until we hear Johnathan and his tendency to have that "i know best even though i clearly am not playing the game too much myself" mentality. Alot of vision talk sounds oooooh so familiar to "dont you guys have phones?!"
Alot of times, not always, but alot of times, when you see probably like 80% of the same things being said from your community of players.....it is probably the direction you should go for you "FANBASE". In business, its about the majority, and sometimes that means letting go or altering your own "Vision".
