I don't consider myself gay, even though I AM attracted to guys, I just don't want to label myself anything besides human. I know it may seem silly, but that's the way I want to live. I don't know my future, but I know it's possible for me to fall in love with someone regardless of their gender.

(Don't let the A in my name fool you, I'm a guy.)

Denial.
Lmao at the pseudo-Pagan Christian/Catholic and everything else that followed, notion of sexuality anyway. Try taking a course on the Romans or Greeks.

Just my two pents

PoE- Isonul (social char)
Pm me anytime :)
well, I'm not gay, but I am trans. I tend to not mention that though, especially because the fact that internally I feel like a girl tends to become a jumping off point for "There are no girls on the internet" shout outs, accusing me of trying to get free stuff, etc. tons of things that are better off just not being dealt with.

You have my sympathy. The world is not always a kind or even understanding place.

Those with any background in ethnology will tell you that there ARE cultures where it is considered quite normal for the males to adopt the majority of the female roles and rituals, including the use of cosmetics etc., and where inheritance is through the female line.

Eugh, people can be asshats. The 'no girls on the itnernet' thing is one of the most annoying 'memes' I have ever come across, second only to the 'make me a sandwich' thing. I don't want a fucking sandwich- I just want people to stop being sexist butt-holes.

Is that really too much to ask for?

Anyway, hit me up if you ever want to chat about stuff. I volunteer at a TG support group in my local area as an advocate, and even if I may not be in the same country/town as you, I might be able to point you in the right direction, or generally offer support if people give you a hard time.
I'm not a n00b- I'm a Online Game Floor Examination Expert.

Not always? Name one instance where the world was a kind and understanding place. Just one event. And not just one holy person or a small group of people im talking overwhelming majority. The answer never so anonymity is always your best friend. ;) Trust can kill you or set you free. Risky deal IMO.

It's a shame you have such a dark view of the world and i hope you are only referring to your certain circumstances. I think you are right the majority of the people in the world CAN be scared, immoral and quick to judge people/things they don't understand. However I have seen many wonderful instances of the world being a kind and understanding place.

I was hiking in the Himalayas and came down with bad altitude sickness and frost bite. I ended up next to an Israeli woman who had been left by our party and we pretty much accepted our fate. Yes melodramatic story alert...my point being that two guys showed up and basically dragged/carried us over the pass even though they were putting themselves at risk of dying by doing so for no reward...they simply left us to heal up on the other side and never said a word to us once we thanked them. So yeah that's an extreme example but people can be kind and understanding for no reason.

If you want something closer to home one of my best friends is gay and had a hard time coming out. We all knew he was gay from a young age but we never spoke much about it because we knew it made him uncomfortable. We were also all on a rugby team at the time which i guess could be considered a "macho" sport dominated by men who don't like the LGBT community. When he came out he was clearly terrified of what the guys would think and we universally accepted him, it just didn't bother us.

Don't be so quick to write off the world.... you are right trust can kill you or set you free but would you rather people shackled by anonymity your whole life or take the chance of actually making a difference to yourself if no one else?

I can act from anonymity as from a public spotlight you cant not without everbody watching you. Even more to the point an act of kindness worths more when nobody knows who did it than if you make a public statement about it. Im not saying the potential isnt there but i live by the words: "dont judge me for my potential judge me for what i am". I do this with the world, yeah it can become the best place ever, paradise and all that... it just wont anytime soon, not with the kind of people we are now. And like i said exceptions dont count. They can move and inspire but they get crushed under the overwhelming masses. But i always cling to hope as Madoka said "its to early to give up" :)
