Any Gay Players?

I am not gay.But I am a little interested in cross-dress men.

I'm not gay, but if I were I probably wouldn't mind.

Edit: I mean, not that there's anything wrong with that!

It is for me, legitimate, to look for other gay ppl, from the same community in real life, but in gaming, it's so easy to ignore someone, that beeing gay, and beeing "scared" or whatever the correct word is, shouldn't stop any gay person to try to find hetero friends.
So that's why, I think, that they should give everybody the chance to be their friend, regardless their sexual orientation, because, on the net, it makes absolutely no difference, and has no impact on no one. (especially on the gay person).

So to conclude, it is IMHO, not necessary to look for people with the same sexual orientation on a gaming forum, because this is not what you're going to share with them.

So we got same opinion about many things. Think the thread was misunderstood, cause obviously OP does not mind to get in contact with heteros, but only wanted to check wether there is also gay poeple to meet them from time to time. :)

But its amazing to read all the posts here and analyze the things that are said in between the lines ;))

But if the same thread was made to group up with black people, the outcome of the thread would be entirely different.

Why? (No, I am not trolling, I mean the question serious)

You can fight against dickheads and have queer communities at the same time. You don't have to spend every moment of your time doing the former.

True! but on the net, and especially on this forum, we are already part of a community, there is no difference between us (thanks to internet), (and it should be the same even in real life), so I just had the feeling that is wasn't necessary to create that difference by looking for a specific community, especially as you won't be sharing with those persons the reason why there is such a community.(which is not the case with communities from different countries, as the share their language), and also because it could be seen as a reject of the others. But, you are obviously free to whatever you want. :)

I never said that we were not having the same opinion on some things :). And yes, afterall, the OP maybe didn't think about that when creating this thread.

And of course, when we leave aside the mongs postings stupid supposedly funny stuff, it becomes interesting to share and discuss a bit, and also analyse as you said the differents opinions.
"Si vis pacem, para bellum"
TLDR: Everyone is entitled to have his own view, but why should anyone purposefully expose some specific details about oneself (be it sexual orientation, skin color etc.) and acting like these very details are both insignificant, so he/she shouldn't be different because of them, and still significant enough to expose them in the first place?

Actually, I don't know if it's the case in the US, or w.ever you're from, but in France (Im french) gay community complain a lot about beeing categorised as gay and not human beeing, they also complain a lot about beeing victims of discrimination. What I mean by this, is that some people make a difference between gay and the rest of the persons just because of their sexual orientation. The gay community is absolutely right to be complaining about this, but, what I don't understand (maybe because it's not working the same way in your country), by making a thread like this, YOU deliberately create a difference between gay people, and heterosexual people. So if you are "fighting" which I understand, respect and support, for equality between every body (gay, hetero....) why did you choose to create that distinction?

Creating a thread to search for people from the same country or something like that is understandable, because you share the same language, but looking or wondering if there is any other people who have the same sexual orientation doesn't add anything? Or maybe Im just wrong? For exemple what I like to do sexually only concern me and my partner.

Still the most brilliant answer on topic so far and by far. Exactly this is also perfectly applies to the later posed question about black people. Seeking other people solely based on the color of your skin doesn't make sense, but seeking people sharing some leisure interests certainly does, like already said chess players group or beer party people. And seeking other people based on such intimate details as sexuality, that is usually not for public discussions anyways, will not make any sense at all, except being a hidden promotion of your personal feelings and/or views.

I live in Russia and I should say that despite of what one can think about our country, you are entitled to have your own view on virtually everything, including but not limiting to the thread topic. Nevertheless, everyone must know the limits when to say something, and when you are better keeping your opinion to yourself. Silence is golden at times. Almost no matter what gender you are, or what gender do you prefer - you are good to go, unless you are purposefully want to be different, claiming you are "normal" at the same time. Yes, you will get bashed, and rightfully so. But not because you are gay/lesbian or w/e, but simply due to the fact that you annoy other "normal" people by acting "not normal". In other words, I am a male and happily married for more than 7 years already to a beautiful girl, and I consider myself "normal". I don't go and shout left and right that marrying girls is correct, that having relations to opposite sex is "normal" and etc, why should anyone else do?! It doesn't even matter how many people share your view or not. The norm to me is staying quite about some aspects that can provoke unintended aggression towards you. Unless this is exactly what you intend, but in this case one should be prepared to face the consequences.

My personal opinion - is everyone may (or may not) think and feel the way he/she wants (including myself), but staying extremely vocal on personal subjects should is bad. That's why you may be viewed as not "normal". Racism and other forms of extremism are incorrect. Feel whatever you like, but why provoking? Your freedom ends when you interfere with other people's freedoms.

Once again, You are absolutely normal no matter how you feel, but you are not normal when you put something arguable out loud and then pretend you are normal. I personally don't consider stepping on other people's views as normal. I would never agitate anyone of anything, and neither would I self advertise. But it's just me, OP is fine by me.
Sooo did this thread reach the end of its line?
