Just for you though: TLDR: You're essentially wrong in every way, GGG has enabled and supported the existence of such macros directly despite having the power to immediately break them, and your belief that they will not exist in PoE2 is laughable. |

so maybe ship again for tabs in microtransactions... ? I hope this isn't the reason for the GGG ignorance about overlays
in fact, I hope POE 2 is updated with an internal trade system, like Guild Wars 2 POE is trade based... so... anziché democrazia preferisco anarchia, il governo altrui ruba sempre

Awakened dont really interact with the game script: It detects words on screen(GGG gave official suport for this, its why we can copy whats written on itens with crtl+c, on D2 we cant do this as blizzard gave no option to migrate the text from in-game to windows overlay) and makes auto commands on trade site, but it dont interact with the game itself in manners beyond GGG officially aproved. It literally ctrl C the item and uses the text to make an automated search on the official website
The chat functions follow a similar pattern: Again, just as GGG allowed us to take in-game item text to windows overlay, we can also take chat messages and take whats written to and fro windows, awakened does a similar thing with items: It creates an external overlay and makes automated commands based on that external copy of the text to make an automated response copy-pasting into ingame chat(and again, GGG allowed this: The game have official support to take in-game text and convert to windows) To put simply: Awakened is not considered risky because all its in-game functions are a bunch of copy-pasting messages the game openly allows. Take away all the windowed stuff(that are just windows popups that awakened cant even produce if you set game to true full screen) and the only interaction the program have with the game is a bunch of copying texts and pasting on chat. To ban awakened, GGG would need to stop suporting that conversion of in-game text to windows | |

So I was looking for any kind of discussion on this forum about using Awakened POE and found this long thread.
GGG just gave me a negative answer to my ban appeal after waiting 9 long days after my account was banned of third party tools amd it has to be Awakened POE trade cos I wasnt using anything else. And for those of you who would start accusing me of using something else my short answer is - no , I didnt, because what would be the point of adding to this already long outdated thread. I was super confused when I got banned. My addon to this post is supposed to serve one purpose : to warn you guys that it might happen to anyone of you. |
