POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

+1 to the crash issues.
PC suddently forces a slow reboot upon itself, although it is not only limited to happening during loading screens, it does occur while loading quite frequently.
Was playing fine with absolutely no issues for the first two weeks since EA began.

PoEUncrasher is the only thing that helped me so far.
Can't play without it.
Not a single freeze loc after I started to use it.
I just hope it doesn't collect my banking information as a "side effect" :D
PoE1 nowadays looks more and more like a fan-made fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.

+1 I have also been experiencing the pc freezes.
I have been experiencing the freezes! Even tried reseating my ram and reinstalling nvidia drivers. Still freezes, cant ctrl+alt+del just have to hard reset. Scary to play for now I guess.
+1 Pc Freezes on loading screens a lot, the only reason i get to play right now is that i unlock 2 of the cores in the CPU so my PC doesn't freeze and game just closes. Please fix it asap GGG.

It started happening once i updated to the latest windows drivers.

poeuncrasher has "fixed" my issues for now, so thanks to the dev who made that, would be nice to get an official fix sometime soon though, try that out if you guys haven't already.

Is there an official response I missed on this terrible issue

No. There is just a single misleading sentence that tries to blame it on Win11 24H2 in a subtle way and a request for dxdiags that we know they did not check.

I see you have that beta supporter badge. Was this issue addressed or mentioned during the beta test? If it was mentioned, can you talk about it if possible or a NDA stops you?

I'm trying to comprehend how GGG managed to miss this big of an issue.

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.
I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do:
1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad.
2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review.
3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there.
The problem could also be from nvidia drivers 566.36. 2 weeks of playing the game I had 0 crashes until recently. I've had random micro stuttering from browsing and if I play POE2, I will freeze on loading screens eventually. Hard to say since I just also upgraded from a 5900x to a ryzen 9800x3d recently. One thing to note, I also did a clean install of windows and was given an older version of nvidia's drivers to work with, it was smoother than the most recent driver version 566.36. driver forums also state that others are having similar problems(https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1h7br0d/game_ready_driver_56636_faqdiscussion/?rdt=33445).

What are you talking about? Do you think real-time affinity has changed from when it was introduced? Go look at the 2015 Version then.
If you can't contribute anything don't post.
Why is it always GeekSquad people who think they know better than everyone else.
Go learn something.
Hi im Nobsi
My Name is Nobsi and im a Nobsiian
Did i mention that my Name is Nobsi?
I replaced my older HDMI cable to a Displayport cable and it no longer freezes or locks up during load screens. Plays pretty good now with no issue. Not sure why there would be any correlation with changing cables and fixing the lock ups..
