POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

please fixx GGG so many ppl have this problem. You're just going to lose players every day who will probably never come back. It is unacceptable that you do not answer the question even if you are not able to fix the problem. We want an answer, how long will it take? If we can do something on our end to improve our gaming experience?? There are dozens of questions I have and it's just a shame to answer thank you for your patience

For me, downgrading the Windows from 24H2 to 23H2 fixed the computer freeze issue, although the game performance is beyond terrible on 7800X3D / 4080 Super... brand new GPU(less than 2 months old) with 3 fans and constantly on 80 degrees like.. come on

Hi, I changed my PCIE speeds from PCIE 5.0 to PCIE 4.0, no crashes so far

After days of random crashes during load screens and scouring the internet for suggestions, the only thing that has reliably worked for me has been to toggle the "engine multithreading" setting to off before loading a map. I have had zero load screen crashes since I started doing this. Once I'm in the map, I turn it back on because performance with it off is terrible.

Disclaimer: I have crashed while running a map when the whole map is exploding (ie. graphic intensive)...but at least it was only the game crashing and my computer didn't lock up.

After the winupdate, I sometimes also freeze before I see the log in screen.

Same experience. Devs should only disable the "engine multithreading" during loading screen

So the new Nvidia driver is out, any one tried with 572.16 ?

As i did see talks of the nvidia driver will be fixing the issue on nvidia cards.

There are other crashes related to nvidia. I suppose it fixes those. This issue is probably not related to Nvidia at all since AMD users also freeze. This is cpu related most likely.

I have the same issue; I can't play the game because my PC crashes every time.

Well our savior Jonathan Rodgers mentioned the game still crashes during the “Sorry but screw PoE1” video. My mouth watered at the very moment he uttered the word “crash” - still unacceptable we’re pushing 2 months with no fix to this issue.

I have 75 hours on PoEUncrasher with 2 crashes and 1 of them I just forgot to run as admin. The other I was able to kill the app but crashed on the load back in and had to reset, probably just needed to reopen the Uncrasher. If you haven’t used it I would highly recommend. The previous 20 hours were unplayable, probably 10-15 hard crashes. 9800X3D 4080 Super
