POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

after latest windows and nvidia updates, still keeps crashing. made me two hard resets so far. okay, i love this game but love my system more. so won't play anymore.

Ok...my take on an OPPOSITE situation than what others are reporting.

I had crashes. Was using POE Uncrasher to help with it, with the occassional CTD, especially when I had a browser up on the other monitor. I would also get "not responding messages" while loading zones.

Then, a few days ago, M$ made me upgrade to 24H2. The "not responding" and CTD went away. This morning, I updated to the new Nvidia drivers, and still the same situation. I still keep POE Uncrasher going on the other monitor, but I'm not getting any errors whatsoever. The game is just running nice and smooth. No stuttering either.

I don't know how or why I'm having these positive results while others are not. Pretty generic AMD cpu, and a RTX 4060 8GB.

What I DO know, though, is that I'm running a 1000W PSU, and my computer is plugged into a UPS. When I game, my UPS goes nuts, beeping warnings that the draw is too high. Can't say it's related, but it's consistently an issue (and annoying).

I am in no way thinking like one of those "I'm fine..sux for you" people. I get it. All the complaints here are valid and need to be addressed asap. I hope GGG figures it out for you guys as immediately as immediately gets.

Anyone tried to change they PCIE speed from 5.0 to 4.0 in bios?

I am curios if all that experience crashes have PCIE 5.0, because on my old system the game didn't crash

Hello everyone, for those that still have this issue. Emptying the shader cash seems to have solve it for me.

We'll see you in a few days when this is not the fix. This has been debunked. There is no user fix to this PC bricking issue.

This is 100% a GGG problem. No other game does this. GGG has been radio silent on this issue for 2 months. Do not expect any fix to this anytime soon, especially if you look at PoE1. Remember that they said they would continue to update PoE1? Ya.. this is not a company known for quality it seems.

A lot of us are new to this game (did not play PoE1), and were sold by basement dwelling toadies that PoE is "the future" of Diablo-likes.

Seems like Blizzard can at least provide a functioning game... there would be daily news articles if this was Diablo 4.

Yes 100% is on their end i know it and they know it! Problem is they dont communicate. This is the most important issue with the game ... check the your Forum GGG. There is no way you ever see money from me! and again your transparency on this is appalling. Scammers thats how i see it.

Who the fuck spends 450 euro for a EA... I mean in this regard its your own fault.

My game was crashing until I start using a tool parking extra core.
I've seen and add the option to the launcher (--ex-crash-report).
So I try to launch the game without the previous tool.

Yesterday, I crash but see nothing in the log file.

The game is crashing if I am doing something else on my other screen while a map is loading, as refreshing a trade in a browser or looking a youtube video.

The mouse cursor is slow to hell and have to wait few minutes to get access to the task manager (using Ctrl+Alt+Del).

Since the lastest patch, also I get a BOSD after wating the few minutes.

Don't know what to do to help GGG further

Victoria 3 is crashing exactly same way.
