POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Crashes started happening to me today. Completely freezes the computer, have to hard reset to get the game to run again.

2 months in, still no fix :c

The problem started for me on Friday. I had experienced crashes before, but they were manageable, and I could still play the game to some extent. Since Friday, however, the game crashes as soon as I try to start it, and I can no longer get into the game.

I’ve tried all possible fixes I found online, but nothing worked. My last resort was to roll back to Windows 23H2, but the issue persisted.

I’ve since reinstalled Windows eight times, trying all the recommended solutions, but I still can’t get the game to work.

The strange thing is that the only time it works is right after a fresh Windows installation. If I install the Nvidia driver and launch the game, everything works fine. However, as soon as I restart the PC, the game crashes within two seconds of starting.

I also have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and Rtx 4090.

3 Months since that issue started, 2 months since the thread was created, a single response from GGG and a small info inside the known issues

We are now 500+ Pages, microsoft started to roll out 24H2 more actively and still no new response from GGG or any other information.
Its starting to feel like GGG doesn't give a single shit about this issue.
Even Ubisoft managed to fix that problem, even for old games....

What do you gain by coming here over and over again to defend GGG and state that it's purely a Windows problem? It must be to get a little attention, so there you go, more attention for your internet needs.

And even if it was a Windows problem, 3 months should have been enough for GGG to investigate it, come to that conclusion, and let people affected know that.

Not even Poeuncrasher helps now. Haven't played in a week... now constantly crashes before i even login.

i went to bios and setted my cpu settings to standard (clockmodifier and voltage to auto), even if my settings were prime-stable and worked in every other game. --> i could play today again without one freeze (yesterday 5 freezes in one hour)

Thought new nvidia driver was going to help, or was said at some point in video. Nope.... stttiiilll crashing constantly now. Both poe1 and 2.

Always on game load, map load, sometimes stash load. or zone load.

Please let us know what we can send support or some email to help. I've send in some dxdiags, but would be happy to do some logging or something. anything.

The issue seems to be getting worse... not better.

Also, im on 23H2, not 24H2

By this point its either pure incompetence or that they simply dont care.... Don't know whats worse
