POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Let's not argue amongst ourselves, everyone.
This is beyond bandaid temporary fixes to just be able to play. We all agree some of them work and but the situation has gotten worse. The real issue is the lack of communication from GGG. Also I see no one talking about this outside of this forum and steam discussions, which I find very weird. Also I've noticed when I've brought this up on youtube comments on some streamers channels (since they seem to, at least, have some sort of a voice if you want to call it that), they get deleted. Stop playing the game for now is my suggestion. Also I would like to know more in depth about the specifics of people who have none of these issues. What specs do they have and why they're not having any issues. Just my 2 cents. Good luck, Exiles. |

Last week I changed my computer from a 1050TI with W10 to a 4060 with W11. With w10 in 140 hours I had 0 crashes but with the new one the first day of playing these crashes started.
I was trying the PoEUncrasher, change the threads and other recommendations and nothing was working until the other day someone commented this: " This and changing the graphical settings (little thing as seen also in the following comment in this thread) made the game suddenly worked perfect. I was able to play for about 8 hours without problems until it crashed again. This morning I tried to play again and the game did not crash but for some reason the fans started to sound too much, when I looked at the task manager I saw that the CPU is permanently between 90 and 100% usage. As with everything related to this bug it only happens with POE2, everything else works fine. This is not a message to say that this is the solution (as many others try) but simply to tell another case with this bug. |

Not sure what patches they releasing, but feels like every time it gets worse and worse.
At EA launch I was playing without problems, then started crashing more and more with every patch until game became unplayable. Fked about with rams and got it going again, until it starts crashing every map start. I go into map and 5s later crash. Relaunch the game, go into same map and clear it without problem. Next map- same shit... Every map need to relaunch the fkn game.. Did we get any update on this crap already? |

" You yourself said the OS shouldn't let it happen. 2 separate OSs (one being open source) and neither one has come with a fix for it. Now is is possible an issue with DX12/Vulkan? Maybe, their base code is very similar but saying the OS shouldn't let it happen when Linux and Windows couldn't have more different base code is flat out flawed troubleshooting logic. I don't think DX12/Vulkan have built in failsafes to prevent infinite loops, and since both APIs have administrative access to the kernel so its not entirely shocking that they could create some sort of infinite loop like what is happening here. |

Please fix :( I still have the problem. This happens in PoE 1 as well.

What's going to happen when (if?) this finally gets fixed? The world's supply of Kleenex is probably going to take a nosedive.

At this point I just want my money back. I paid for early access, not early denial. I bought it on Jan 14th and it was fine for a couple of hours and then the freezes started. I can't get a refund through steam because I've played for 10 or so hours on the first day.
