Just freeze at the loading screen and I need to force shutdown my PC.
After that I tried to change x3d setup to disabled at my bios, tried to run the game, and just freeze again at the first loading screen (not even able to see login screen).

Cannot play the game anymore after I bought Ryzen 7 9800x3D. Feel so sadddd

disable 2 cores, OR disable multithreading,

It won't crash with multithreading off, but can drop into 30fps territory in cities and busy areas - some users turn it off to zone, and then turn it back on.

disabling 2 cores (turning the affinity off) makes it less likely to lock the whole pc up.

Cachyos Is the answer for now

5 days of heavy playtime since latest windows 11 patch zero freezes, just 1 crash to desktop which was related to weapon swap bug.

Done 50+ maps, multiple cidatels and trials of chaos.

Was defo a windows problem for me but now seems resolved

Why make us wait for this fix?

A game breaking bug and whey want to delay it till later this week? why not hotfix it right away so ppl can play the early access they paid for.

This whole situation is really awkward tbh.

Im glad they seem to have a "potential" fix for it at least.

Well one would assume its a potential fix so it needs a bit more testing, one would also assume based on all the threads that this is a complicated issue ya know with how many different systems its actually affecting and maybe just maybe rushing out a potential fix could potentially affect the game/systems in a more negative way a quick google search for patch breaks game will show you hundreds of different pages from hundreds of different games rushing out quick fixes and breaking something else.

No matter what they do they will never please 95% of the players in these threads because they have no idea what they are talking about lol and just want something to complain about.

Just because it got announced doesn't mean it is ready for production servers yet.

You mean they have a fix, but they need to update the servers before they can release the client, so they would need to take the game down for a while? Yeah, that could be it maybe.

And even then they should do this asap if thats the case. This is not your typical game crash / performance optimisation. Ppl litterally can't play the game as we speak.

This is a live service game. They should be able to get fixes and patches out very fast.

I’ve done the following today:

Reinstalled Windows and made sure all the latest updates were installed.
Installed the latest Nvidia driver.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
Despite all of this, the game crashes right on startup, and I haven’t been able to play for the last five days.

I’m starting to get nervous! 😅
