Yo how do you delete the shader cache?

Man it worked !!!

" Delete the shader that you're using (D12 if D12, Vulkan if Vulkan): C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2 |
|
still having drops even after delete shaders folder and cap it at 100 GB from nvidia control panel.
rtx 4060 32 ram intel i5 12400f no sense that performance on my pc to be honest. |

I tried everything ive seen online and I still get like 30-50 fps in maps.
i5-11600KF rtx 4070 32gb RAM Honestly dont know what to do anymore, game is unplayable on my side. |
|
3070 i510400f 50-20 fps on maps
|
|
i5-10400 3070 rtx
very high CPU usage on mapping, when you open a breach or something else, the drawdown is up to 20 fps |

the problems with the microstutters and generally bad performance with those cpu spikes have been around for such a long time, i really hoped that ggg would work a miracle once more and fix these at least for poe2. just like they did when they fixed desync.
generally speaking i feel like poe2 runs better than poe1 so there must have been some work done on this, but the visible cpu spikes and the connected stutter is still happening and people are still showing the same kind of "fix" which is essentially putting your cpu cores on 100% all the time. honestly i don't think that's a good thing to do to your cpu and i also don't think any game should require people to do so to play it. iirc those cpu spikes started happening after they implemented some "performance improvement" patch late in poe1's lifetime. was there ever any acknowledgement from ggg's side of this problem? |
