[PoE 2] Game crashes when trying to login with a specific character

I have my monk which is 37 level in the act 3 "Infested barrens" region.
I was in the same region before but then I logged out, had no issues.
After I logged in again, I was going through it and the game crashed.
I haven't been able to login with that character ever since.
I created a new character to check if it's a general problem or if it's specific with the other character. I successfully created a new character and successfully loaded into the game so it must be something specific to the character.

The crash happens after I try to login into the world.

Tried changing the renderer to Vulkan, didn't work. Tried lowering the graphics, didn't work.

Awesome game though, I know it's in early access, so these things are normal.

Yup, might test some other character in the meantime. I am in no rush ^^

I'm currently having this issue. Can log into other character but instant crash on login with my monk who is stuck in freythorn crashing.

My buddy is having this problem with ONE character repeatedly crashing on character login as of today, december 12th.... (other characters work)

The character is level 38, and is in clearfel encampment.

He went back to do the frost boss, and after frost boss, when he teleported to town, his client crashed. Now everytime he tries to login to that character it crashes.

SAME WITH ME, i was approaching silverfist elite monkey and crashed, and crashes when i login to that character only

Same here.only happen in Infested barrens map.

FYI - My buddy was able to stop his character-login crash by changing his rendered from DirectX12 to Vulkan...


When the game starts, before you login, hit options -> game -> renderer -> vulkan

maybe it'll work for you (though maybe not)

I have confiremd with a second character that freythorn is crashing my game. If i can get like 10 seconds before crash I can tp out, was able to get one char out but another one is stuck in there.

Error: "2024/12/12 22:29:46 376790000 91c5d07 [WARN Client 24108] Failed to create ruleset 50 (RitualRules)"

Same thing happening to me in Molten Vault. Was chilling running around, went back to town to sell, teleported back and crashed. Now I crash everytime i try to login on that character.
