[PoE 2] Game crashes when trying to login with a specific character

Yup this just happened to me, now I cant play my monk

Same problem. Witchhunter 89 lvl

Same issue here with Infested Barrens. It crashed as soon as I entered and now I'm unable to restart the game.

I tried a few things that I saw in this thread and another, but none of them worked.

- Tried to repair via "Verify integrity of files".
- Changed renderer to Vulcan.
- Changed renderer to DX11.

Same. Also Monk. Can't login to him, but can login to other chars.

Same issue here. Happened in my hideout

Same issue. Currently in my hideout as level 76 monk.

Able to login to other level 10 witch, but not my main character.

looks like a lot of replies after patch so maybe something got messed up even more and they will do something about it if its happening to so many players. going to try reinstalling right now

Edit: Has fixed itself after about 20 minutes from start of issue.

I was able to get my character to load in by disabling multi-threading after this happened to me. You'll want to turn it on afterwards because it tanks performance.

Changing between Vulkan and DX12 didn't do anything for me.

My mercenary was stuck in the second trial of the sekmahs. Changing the renderer to directX 11 worked for me.

In the poe2 config file set "renderer_type=DirectX11". I also tried Vulkan but that one didn't work.

After changing zones I changed the renderer back to DirectX12 because the performance of the DirectX11 renderer was very bad.
