[PoE 2] Game crashes when trying to login with a specific character

Same issue on my deadeye who's just trying to load into Limestone Hideout. It's for sure my hideout, this is where I logged off last time

Edit: tried what someone else in the thread suggested and changed my renderer from DirextX to Vulkan in game options, and for some reason this worked for me!

Edit 2: Never mind! Disconnected and now can't load into them again most of the time. Crashed three times to load in once

Same thing is now happening to me. I can login and have no issues on any other of my 5 characters but as soon as I login to my sorc i crash after about 3-5 seconds.

I tried switching hideouts thinking maybe my zone was bugged.
Switched to Vulkan and DX11 both
lowered graphics (even tho that shouldnt be the issue since i have a 4070ti)

SAME WITH ME, i was approaching silverfist elite monkey and crashed, and crashes when i login to that character only


Same with me, exact same mob
Is this going to be fixed anytime soon? Any debugging tool to reset character back to the camp ?

Same here after i tried a new support gem i think it has relation with the inventory or smth
Hi,

Same behavior, instant crash after selecting my main character. But I tried different options/combinations for graphics.
1 - Changed to Vulkan
AND
2 - Removed Dynamic Resolution

It worked for me when both are changed. Not saying it will fix for everyone, but I had lot of issues with graphics and crash, not only with the renderer.

Strange that it seems character based, only difference is that it does not crash in act1 with my characters, but it does with my main in act2 (at the caravan).

Hope this might help, it did for me.


UPDATE
When exiting game and log in again, same issue even in Vulkan with Dynamic Resolution removed.
Play again with the rederer BUT changed while I was in the settings menu. (Switch to D12, apply settings, then switch back to Vulkan, apply settings).

I ran into this issue right now on one specific character which is in my hideout...
I have the same issue with a lvl 46 invoker monk going into cruel grelwood

I tried:
- clearing shader cache,
- changing to vulkan/dx11
- putting all graphics settings to minimum
- adding frame rate caps
- removing multi threading
- doing a integrity check on the game files
- changing upscaling to bilinear
- no render upscaling on resolution

been in crash state for about 12 hours, so far nothing has worked
I have the same issue with my sorceress. I found out I was getting an error in my client log file saying "[CRIT Client 30936] PlayAnimation failed! [ stance: WandShieldTown ] [ type: PowerSiphon ] [ object: Metadata/Characters/Int/IntFourb ] [ actor_file: Metadata/Characters/Int/IntFour.act ] [ current_ao: Metadata/Characters/Int/IntFourB.ao". Sometimes when I logged in on the broken character, I had a half second before I would crash, so I took off my wand and shield and the game never crashed. The second I put both back on, the game crashed.

Edit: I only crash when equipping a siphoning wand with my shield. I tested a few other base wand types but they don't seem to cause any issues

it seems to be an issue with trying to load up grellwood in act1 cruel

I have now lost 2 more characters to this bug they are all stuck loading into grellwood...
