I just quit POE2 because of lack of WAYSTONES.

you have to do the 3 for 1 in the reforge bench to get a tier higher. You have to spec into all of the waypoint stuff on the atlas passive tree. It's the only way early on at least.

The only way to do this is to joined a party (even then you dont get a map cause only party leader get map drop), IMO they design this to sell the guild pass as they are clearly thinking about Pay 2 win.

I was encountered the same thing at T9 map, so it doesn't get better in term of progressing with atlas map. (It actually get worst the higher you go cause they obviously failed their math in probability)

I'm gonna leave a bad review on steam just for this reason alone, but deciding giving them few days for rectification, cause I rarely give bad review to a game unless i had to.

Totaly agree. I have all atlas waystones passives taken. Taken the tower cluster 3 of them so have like 50% more waystone buff on each map and have over 100% waystone chance on the waystone itself.

Just played a t8 that dropped ZERO.

I can easy farm t8 and probably 5 tiers higher if the game would allow me to progress further by giving me any waystone drop.

I have used the 3 to 1 crafting bench and also baught all waystones from Doryani to get here. Have 3 deaths on 10 hour play yesterday. too much to progress?

Now I have one t8 left and the rest of waystones in my stash are t1 or t2. Whish me good luck.

Not fun to be forced to play t1 or t2 when I easy can farm t10++

The lost waystone on death seem to be the BIG problem here. Deathless or Bricked? If so Bye Bye

Same here. I really love the game but lack of map sustain just makes it unfun.
I am hard stuck at t5 - dropped some t2 and t3 maps, nothing that allows me to sustain running.
Now you could say: just buy t1's and craft your maps - yeah sure 3*3*3*3*5k -> 405k gold for 1 t5 map... certainly NO.
Then what? 1215k per map on t6? 3645k for t7? No thanks.

Easy fix:
Add an (early) Atlas option: "Each map drops at least one waystone of the same level."


Or at least add to the vendor an option that always sells maps at your highest successfully run map level for
5k + (1k*level)

This would still be annoying but at least it would allow me to actually play the game.

Please remember that we are in Early Access.

Does your generation have any rudimentary idea how to:

1) Wait? (Patience)

2) Be respectful? (Consideration)

3) Follow thru? (Commitment)


Time to grow a pair.

You should not have to worry this much about getting waypoint in a game that you focused on playstyle & character building GGG.

Imagine farming for an hour to get the waystone you need. You open the map, progress two rooms further, and then an enemy one-shots you. Congratulations, you just wasted an hour of your life.

reading through this makes me sad.
most of you complaining not geting loot because you die to much,
or complaining you have not 100% drop chances for the waystones.
just think of early map sustain in poe1, it is almost non existant unless you invest heavily in it.
it is early access and only half of the content from the final release, so yes ofc things will get better!
but your complains here make me think, humanity is going the "idiocracy" way and stop using their brains!

go to A6 in a high lvl zone to farm some T1s if you run out of them,
sell more (EVEN WHITES), you have 6 portals for that,
fix your defences (add sockets to all gear),
QUALITY you main skill !!!
but the MOST important thing...
get better and DO NOT DIE !

oh and NEVER do the 3 to 1 recipe for waystones unless you have a ton of them, this is pure waste. just bulk sell them to buy better ones.

If you invest in the waystones they can go to 300-400%+ Drop rate for waystones, up to 6 mods, I'm getting 10-20 Waystones a map usually about 1/3 of them are T10+. Aug/alt is hard to sustain, Alchemy on whites and go with 4 mods is pretty good but exalt to 6mods will I believe guarantee 300%+ drop rate for waystones. But if your too weak for that then *shrug* not sure.
