Path of Exile 2: Upcoming Changes and Improvements

1. Why do shields, including Unique shields, have only 1 skill: Raise Shield? Why can't this skill be changed to another? If you give freedom of action in buildbuilding, there is no such freedom in regards to shields. This also applies to Unique magic shields.
2. Why are there so many narrow corridors in the game and who likes it? Act 3 is the longest and has the most narrow corridors.
3. Why can't you enable the “View outgoing and incoming damage” option? Each player should choose for themselves whether they want to enable this option or not.
4. Why are the Skulls (boss icon) on the map not intuitive? People with poor eyesight may not be able to see the difference between killed and live bosses. Add an “X” above the killed boss icon.
5. Why is there no option to replace a Rune in an item? Because of one wrongly inserted rune there is a great chance to ruin a very rare weapon / armor, which can be selected tens / hundreds of hours.
6. Why are Unique items dropped in Acts so useless? At level 60 a character drops (example) Mist Whisper Crossbow with 6-11 damage... Not only does the weapon not drop on your class, it may not be worth anything on the market. Dropping Unique items should be a celebration, not a disappointment, given their extremely low drop rate.
7. Why doesn't Skillpoints ("P" button) display already invested points in the passive skill tree? Only currently available points are displayed.
8. Why doesn't the “Show Recommended Gems” button remember my selection? I have to re-enable it every time and search for the right support gem. This is extremely inconvenient.
9. Why is it impossible to see positive or negative effects on monsters/bosses when hovering the mouse cursor? The game lacks a Knowledge Base showing positive/negative icons on enemies.
10. Why are builds that players play fixed at a time when the game has a large number of critical bugs that are of great importance to many players? PoE 2 is a solo game. Since the release of early access, there has not been a single boost of one of the skills, there were only cuts (note). There was a feeling that critical errors are not in the first place for developers, first of all there is a decrease in the comfort of players instead of ensuring a stable technical part of the game.
11. Why does your game not provide for the possibility to skip Acts (as it is done by a competitor)? Only a few players want to go through 6 acts each time before entering the endgame. Conduct a social survey if, as you say, you listen to the opinion of the players. After conducting a survey, you will realize that in 2024, most players are tired of going through the Acts in the first part of the game.
12. Why does a game that borrows a lot from Soulslike games not allow you to pick up loot after death? - There you can go and take the souls, here the whole drop disappears after death.
13. Why were such ultra-high prices set in stores? In turn, the sale of Yellow items to the store is 20 or more times lower than the purchase of Blue items. Is this how the economy should be?
14. Why is dumping in a tree so expensive? Giving away 1730 gold for 1 node is kind of crazy... Do I have to farm for a few days to reset the entire tree?

so in not even 1 week the most popular summons are nerfed?

honestly I'm having a hard time balancing my build. the 3rd level of ascd was a hassle I sacrificed 25% of my life so that in the end I had the same dps after the nerf?
seriously ? waited a bit and added something else to let us have some fun, I have no desire to continue...

if you don't like invocations don't offer them because there is only one viable one and you destroyed it.

Great changes. Loving the game so far. The campaign is great. Excited for the last 3 acts. The endgame at the moment feels a bit boring compared to POE1, but the foundation seems good. Definitely some tweaks needed though.

My biggest complaint is with map sustain. I'm on T7 maps, and the issue I run into is if I die a couple times early in a map I start to run out of High tier maps to run to progress the endgame. It's close to being in the right place, it just feels bad if you get on a bad run. I think it could be fixed with a couple simple changes.

1: Give Doryani more waystones for the player to purchase. He currently offers far less than Kirac did in PoE1.

2: Give us a way to target farm waystones. Maybe add a chest at the end of the towers that is guaranteed to drop 1-3 waystones I think that would fix the issue.
nothing about mana cost? Fireball costing 451 mana and 451 life sounds crazy
When does this patch go live? Hopefully before the holiday break. Game is awesome btw besides a few small things. Excited for the crossbow buffs.

beside this crap you going to melt only one mechanic that works fine with is breach....

Why are you so adamant about having on death effects? This has been universally hated by everyone forever. You now have temporarily removed it... just leave it out. It literally adds nothing to the game except frustration. There are 0, zero, nill, none upsides to it from a player, gameplay or design perspective.

Not enough for me to come back.

Stuff rarely drops, when it does drop, it's garbage.

You break down that garbage at the chance of upgrade other garbage, only to have it become more garbage.

I've found on my sorc, nothing but crossbows dropped. Now on my Ranger, nothing but Sorc weapons drop.

So fighting difficult bosses (which I appreciate) with garbage gear just isn't fun.

I'll be waiting until buffs are made to loot drops or bad luck protection is added to the game when crafting / upgrading gear.
