ES is broken

Because source of physical damage are not really a threat to begin with most oif the time, and ESS work against everything.
Same goes for evasion, it only protect against targetted attacks, not AOE or puddle.
THey suck as defense mechanism compared to ES.

I get that y'all try to defend your thing but....it's flawed from the get go.
Warriors get to fance in tank outfit while a robe dressed sorcerer can tank better.

Ok, we see that ES can reach higher values than life. And you also argue that life is bad with those values it have at the moment.

What i dont get ist your solution? Instead of asking GGG to push life to bring it on the same level as ES and both have fun, you wana GGG to nerf ES so both ES and Life are not fun to play. Seems more important for you that others also dont have fun playing like you instead of having fun by yourself.

Maybe there could be some finetuning for both when they are even at the end when there are both to strong.

There's nothing stopping ES stackers from using shields for active blocking. In fact, a lot of them do use them until it becomes irrelevant due to sheer numbers.

Forcing everybody into active blocking is not good game design, especially if it's in response to a massively overepowered stat that overshadows everything else 70 to 1.

I get your point however this is EA so to say that this is PoE and certain classes being garbage and some being meta is just how it is, this statement is a bit off putting.

They have every bit of opportunity up until release to tweak classes so that not a single one will be useless and that sure maybe one class will still outperform the others but all other classes should still be playable and be able to reach highest tiers this is something they should strive for.

Of course they probably wont get it perfect for release and can still fix it after but nothing should be useless at least. Because if they are useless and they go by your standards of something needs to suck, then why even bother having the class in the game at all?

CI is the reason ES is broken , remove it or change it.
Armor evasion and ES are supposed to be somewhat competitive with each other but armor is kind of a joke yes. I don't think people with 600 div investment are going to feel that tanky with an absurd amount of armor only like they would with ES.

How do you know its broken? Maybe its GGG vision how Defence should be at endgame and only Life&Armor&Evasion builds are broken and need more love. Maybe you are right and only that skill is broken, but thats no reason to nerf ES overall. Maybe something like Max ES penalty if you take CI or CI let poison bypass ES.

P.S.: There are no archtype classes in this game like Tank, DD and Healer. Only cause you took the choice of an life armor melee starting char aka"Tank" it is not your born right to have highest defence.

P.P.S.: "Open eyes when you pick your startingclass". When i decided that i wana play an witch with ES for example it was clear for me that i would never have an bigger inventory aka Colossal Capacity. Should i now demand that GGG nerf that ascension cause i cant have it as a witch?

Its broken because it negates bleeds, poison and all chaos damage.

Why dont you try changing your build/choices up.

You only have the t5+ challenge you arent even in deep maps. Why are you taking 70% of your health from a single mob strike? I dont as a warrior, so its pretty obvious the mods you took (which I am not translating, looked like pen AND damage to that pen) contributed to your death.

And also being honest, show your character stats. Show context when you want to start saying its not your fault. From the video though its 100% your build, and the remnants you chose.

And lastly.

You went from 70% to 0%. Thats not a one shot friend.
